Cheap hotels in Hatton

Meals were excellent. They have a great chef for Indian and Sri Lankan cooking. We decided to eat all our meals in the bungalow for the great local cooking rather than go into nearby towns for probably disappointing meals. The service was great and Murali, the manager on site, has lovely energy and was always ready to help, give suggestions, and share information. We enjoyed taking short trips and also walking on the tea estate trails. We felt very safe throughout the time. You have to love old-fashioned charm like we do. Don't expect modern boutique facilities! We hope they don't try to modernize because otherwise they will lose the charm. It's all just right, and we would definitely go there again.

Authentic living on a tea estate. Staff very friendly.

Amazing property in the middle of tea plantations.

The staff is very welcoming and attentive. Special compliments to chef Chandran, who went out of his way to cook a different delicious Sri Lankan meal for me every day. Both the Sri Lankan and the western breakfasts were great to start the day. The room is spacious, very comfortable, and the view is amazing. After a warm day, the pool offers a welcome refreshment, again with an amazing view over the valley and the lake.

Beautiful view point, friendly staff, tasty food calm environment & personalized service

Breakfast and Dinner excellent.

Host is super nice and accommodating. House is veru cozy, quite and well equipped.

The place was super clean and comfy and customer service was exceptional.

A clean and spacious room/home. Good location in Hatton. The owner was super friendly and caring. He helped me organize my trip to Adam’s peak and my next destination. He also recommended a delicious restaurant nearby that is ran by a lovely family- I ate there every day. Thank you for your incredible hospitality!!

There are 4 very clean, large and comfortable rooms. The rooms have everything we needed. There is a terrace with amazing views of the mountains and a very spacious living room area where we can sit, read and relax. The owners/hosts are so friendly and kind, attending to all our needs. We had dinner ordered, made by the host family. It was absolutely delicious home cooked meal. The breakfast was excellent too with strong coffee. And the WiFi was the best so far in Sri Lanka. It’s close to everything. Such a gem if you are on a budget or not.

It was easily walkable from the bus. Beautiful view. Attentive staff and flexible check in. Very clean!

this place is located near the town. The staff is good. It is worth the money. The rooms are clean.

The place has two bedrooms, each with a double bed, a fully equipped kitchen, and a spotlessly clean bathroom. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, and he gladly provided extra kitchen items we needed and even explained how to use the local buses and his favorite restaurants;-) It was a truly wonderful place to stay!

Great room, amazing balcony view, polite staff.

Our hosts were so sweet and helpful after a long walk from the pekoe trail. We slept so soundly in their beds and caught up on our lack of sleep due to jet lag. What an amazing spot will definitely be back!

We loved the spaces room with comfy bed, delicious food, friendly staff ( especially Sam) and the great location.

Great experience and very friendly people to deal with … more like a family vibe … very clean resort
