A fantastic place to stay hosted by a lovely, welcoming family. The property is right next to a quiet beach which is good for swimming. Eat delicious breakfasts and evening meals overlooking the beautiful bay. The room is very spacious and clean with a comfy bed. Nothing luxurious but perfectly adequate. The host family are very kind. They gave us a tour of their beautiful garden, in which they grow so many fruit and spices. We would definitely recommend this place and would love to return one day :)

Bappa’s place was perfect for my stay in Hiri. It has everything you need, is a short walk to the beach and restaurants, and was a great place to meet people. It’s on a quiet street away from town and isn’t a party hostel but everyone is super social and friendly!

This hotel is really nice and just a few minutes walk from the beach. It has everything you need during your stay — a kitchen, a fridge, and a kettle. Very good value for money! The host is super kind and always here to help. He also offers other services, not only the hotel. There are many small cafés and restaurants around. I totally recommend !

Everything was amazing here - beautiful view of the beach from the room, delicious drinks and food, clean room, and one of the guys named “Nimesh” was so friendly and provided fantastic service during our stay at the beach club. I learnt how to surf at Hiriketiya beach for the first time and was sooooo nervous. Nimesh was so kind, provided me reassurance and encouragement to just go ahead and do it! Wish I stayed here longer.

The hotel is just a short walk from the beach, making it an ideal location. Our villa was spacious and comfortable, equipped with both air conditioning and ceiling fans for a pleasant stay. We had direct access to the swimming pool and a private terrace with cozy chairs, perfect for relaxing. The pool was very clean and always inviting. The owners and staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help with anything we needed.

I highly recommend staying at Hanguk Lanka Lagoon Villa. I spent four nights here and its been such a wonderful stay. Sandhu and his family are really beautiful people and they will make your stay amazing. They are kind and considerate. I had many talks with Sandhu and he is an incredible young man. The villa itself is very beautiful and surrounded by psalm trees. I enjoyed sitting out on the verandah every day watching some cute little monkeys in the trees and also watching colourful peacocks walk by. The bed in the villa was so comfortable and the shower was really good. The wi-fi worked very fast as well. The room was very clean and private. The surrounding area is very tranquil which I loved. The food served in the restaurant was delicious and I ate breakfast and dinner there every day. I walked to a very serene beach every day. It's very close by. Thankyou so much Sandhu for all of your help. This has truly been my best stay in Sri Lanka and I have enjoyed every moment. My stay has been so wonderful.
