The owners have done up this place with a loving hand. The traditional house has many charming features, especially the beautiful arched living room at ground floor, lovely details like a partially glazed floor to let views and light through from top to bottom, a lovely bright terrace upstairs, and a cooler one downstairs, a fully fitted kitchen, the tasteful rooms you can see on the pictures ... The house feels bright and open, it is a gem, it has been lived in and loved - visitors will love it too :) On top of that Lara is absolutely lovely and welcoming, trying to accommodate even uncommon needs or wishes (I needed space for a short online tutition and everything was set up for me, before we even met) - thank you for everything, I will definitely come back :)

The location of the flat is fantastic, very close to Mdina and other historical sites. Lots of nice restaurants and bars nearby, also with breakfast options - the Confession bar opposite the apartment is strongly recommended to visit :) . Definitely, a big advantage is the proximity of a sizable and free car park. The flat itself is very comfortable for 3 couples - 3 separate bedrooms and bathrooms ensure comfort, it also has a kitchen and dining area. Using Netflix is also a good option when you log in to your account.

An absolute definition of value for money. Everything was meticulously cared for and spotlessly clean, with attention to even the smallest details. The breakfast was outstanding — fresh, generous, and truly memorable. The service was impeccable: warm, professional, and always attentive without being intrusive. All this at a very reasonable price, which makes the overall experience even more impressive. Highly recommended and definitely a place we would gladly return to.

The apartament is perfectly located in the old town, very close to cafes, restaurants and bars famous throughout Malta. 50 metres from the apartament is a square with buses that take you anyware in Malta. The rooms are beatifully furnished and decorated with many paintings. Freshly renovated and spotlessly clean. Excellent communication with the owners. We wholeheartedly recommend it.

Very good location, 3min till bus stop, 1-2min till taxi. 6min till Mdina. Spacy appartment on three floors. Comfortable beds. Helpfull staff.

This stay is located in a beautiful area, close to Rabat Mdina. I really enjoyed walking around Mdina in the evening. In addition, there are some excellent Maltese eateries nearby. First, I hired a flat room without a kitchen. However, they assisted me in changing my stay, which included the kitchen. And it was quite helpful, and they did not charge any further fees for it. I sincerely appreciate that, and thank you also.

When you are looking for a stay in the area, this is place where we recommend to stay! ‘The Hidden Gem’ is a family run accommodation. It has perfect location, beautiful premises with rooftop terraces with a view to Mdina, clean nice room with limestone walls and least but not last - thanks to very nice and welcoming hosts Patrick and his wife.

Great location, the staff was super helpful with my late check in. All around great, the room was clean and spacious, hot water and towels in a huge bathroom and I would definitely stay here again
