We enjoyed excellent quality time with the greatest music from '80, wonderful atmosphere and it was Kings breakfast variety in the morning. The room was big, beds are very comfortable 👌 and bathroom, bath 🛁, shower 🚿 and much space.. 25 meters away free parking, middle in de beautiful village but quiet in the night, Relaxing night, wonderful stay, price 😊 and owner's are just adorable, friendly and very well presented with all the had to offer. Our stay at Guesthouse De Wissen was amazing! We had a very peaceful time there. Self check-in, super comfortable bed, the room had nice light during the day and was very dark to sleep. The kitchen had everything we needed, including condiments and oil to cook. We loved having a dishwasher so we didn’t have to worry about anything. Also the decoration was really pretty. Outside we had a nice view of the lake and we could reach easily Hoge Kempen with our car, just in 10 minutes. Since it is a rather small place, you could hear noise coming from the kitchen which can be annoying at sleeping hours. But the owners are super friendly, responsive and helpful in case other guests are making a lot of noise outside.

A really beautiful and spacious studio with everything needed for a very comfortable stay. The cooking facilities were excellent and there is a large supermarket just over the road. It is easy to visit the area by bus or train as the station is less than 5 mins walk and has fast and frequent connections to Maastricht. Sittard itself is an interesting and beautiful old town. The hosts were extremely helpful and friendly and were very available but always discrete.
