-The location is by far the one we liked most comparing to Thamel and Bhaktapur. It's of course more convenient for sightseeing than Bhaktapur, and less touristic and hectic than Thamel. We felt like locals strolling around, taking public buses in additional to taxis, going to local shops and eateries, chilling at the Durbar square, etc.. - The room was spotless clean, spacious, with lots of natural light, the bed was comfy and there was always hot water for shower! There was an electric kettle to prepare a tea or coffee. They also provided us with everything we needed. - The communication with Shreeya was top. She was always willing to help us! The boy at the reception (cafe) was, also, so kind and helpful and sweet. Thank you! - The non touristic vibe was what we needed for a 5 day stay!

Booked for one night and extended twice turned into a week! Friendly staffs and a thoughtful vision for connecting with local communities by bringing together travelers from around the world to experience Nepal through a local lens. The space fosters diversity, open conversations, and a true sense of connection through localized events and activities. I really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, varied, nourishing, and prepared with care. The walking tour took us beyond the usual attractions and into the heart of the valley. I spent three wonderfully warm and pleasant nights here. Shailendra and his wife were gentle and kind, treating me like a dear elder and a long-lost friend. I cherished the breakfast time every morning. They welcomed me like family. Sitting by the balcony, savoring the delicious breakfast they prepared, watching the view, listening to the birds sing, and sharing unhurried conversations—this was exactly the meaning of my trip. Walking out from the hotel, there are many cafés nearby. A little further, you’ll find bookstores, supermarkets, and the beautiful traditional architecture of Patan. Compared to other areas of Kathmandu, Patan feels more peaceful and perfect for leisurely strolls. As a woman traveling alone, I felt very safe here. This place has left me with beautiful memories of Kathmandu. May we all enjoy life to the fullest in our own corners of the world. See you again.

Perfect location for Swayambhu - 5 minutes walk. Exceptionally clean and very comfortable bed and bedding. Lovely room. Attentive and kind staff. Nice seating area downstairs to chill out. Lovely traditional decor. There is nothing not to like! Great value and would happily stay again. Breakfast was delicious too.
