We had the best time at this hotel. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. They organized a scooter for us within a few minutes. They also drove us to the ferry when we had to leave. The room was very big, bright and super clean. The bed was very comfortable and the AC worked perfectly well. From our balcony we had the nicest view. Directly in front of the hotel is a very nice beach and good snorkeling. The breakfast was so delicious and more than enough. One night we also enjoyed a great dinner. There was also drinking water and coffee for free. We recommend this hotel to 100% and are looking forward to our next visit!

My only problem staying there was that it wasn’t long enough. Bill and his lovely wife were helpful without being intrusive, ensured I felt actually ‘at home’ rather than other times where you are told this but it doesn’t feel that way. I spent hours inside the room allowing my mind to drift over the stunning turquoise quiescence of the sea. It was blissfully calming and I can’t speak more highly of my entire experience. Much gratitude to the lovely hosts.

A HIDDEN GEM indeed. If you want some rest and relaxation, then this is the place for you. The pool was amazing that extends the lookout to the ocean was so serene and peaceful. Secluded beach below the property to walk in the morning or in the evening is great. A few minutes walk to Santiago beach to dine or to enjoy lowtide walks or swim. But most of all, the caretaker Mercy and her husband were accommodating on our daily needs. I love this place...already planning on booking future stay. Great place!!! AMAZING...

Everything was just perfect. Even we checked in 4hour before check in time the wonderful mercy and oppah managed to host us perfectly and even sing some karaoke with us at the beautiful pool. Rooms are very clean, breakfast is outstanding, the view is breathtaking and the friendly dogs are the cherry on the top. Definitely will come back

I enjoyed my stay at Camotes Backpackers so much!The property and rooms were clean and comfortable, beach is walking distance, and the Internet pretty reliable (unless there’s blackouts in the islands, but that doesn’t depend on the property anyway). Super good coffee and delicious whole wheat bread (which they bake themselves btw). The owners of the place are super nice and helpful. I really felt like at home. 100% recommend.
