Cheap hotels in Machico

I think and sure this hotel one of the best ever in the island period The staff were amazing and humble, love the way you treating the guests, see you soon again You are rock

Just amazing.Antonio is a right man in right place. It is my second staying in his hotel snd ,I deeply believe not the last.

We loved the concept and the design of the room was just awesome (we were in Route 66, bike-themed)! On the practical side: the room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed, plenty of sockets, spaces for things, even the small bathroom was perfectly organised! The common spaces (kitchen and terrace with hangers) and shared devices (i.e. hairdryers) too are fantastically organised, with reserved spaces in cupboard and fridges, and a great waste prevention/recycling/sharing system. Ruben personally greeted us and explain how the everything worked, gave us suggestions (i.e. on where to park for free) and always took the time to chat with us and other guests. He was also super-helpful when we left some of our stuff behind! Also the location is fantastic. Right in Machico centre, with many bars and restaurant around, basically directly to the Praia de S.Roque (stone beach, higher waves, but still manned) and 5 minutes walk to the Praia de Machico (sand beach, protected bay, manned).

Community was quaint, with nice people. Room was comfortable, spotless, modern. Bedding was so luxurious. Access to kitchen was very helpful.

The room and service were excellent. I truly appreciated how quickly the team provided the access code after preparing the room, even though I arrived before the usual check-in time. The process was smooth and very well organized. The room was perfect for a solo traveler — comfortable, well-equipped, and with everything needed for a pleasant stay. The location is also great: the beach is only around a 10-minute walk away, and the room even offers a beautiful ocean view with lovely walking areas nearby. Another big advantage is the convenience of the location. You can easily reach many places within a short time, and the airport is very close as well. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it.

I really enjoyed staying here. Only thing I regret is that I didn't stay longer. I highly recommend staying here.

Love the location and the place itself is so cozy and nice. Cute room perfect for a couple.

Loved the size of the property for my 4 adult size kids and myself and my husband. I loved the location over the snack bar - coffee was excellent and very reasonable prices . Loved the location close enough to walk to Santa Cruz and a slightly longer walk to Machico. Host was very friendly and helpful

The location and view is good. The place close to airport but far from Funchal.

A nice hotel central in Santa Cruz, near the beach and the airport. Very friendly staff who helped me out well when my flights where canceled 3 days in a row.

We loved our stay at nature guest house madeira. Everyone in the staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome. It was my girlfriend's birthday and we really appreciated the special touches they gave for our room. Breakfast was amazing- the view especially was unbeatable. Location was great and in a peaceful picturesque neighborhood. Would stay here another time without hesitation. Made our trip even better. The view from the room is very beautiful.

We had a blast at the Maison ZiaZen. The accommodation is located in a quiet, picturesque area of Madeira. Cilene is a great host: very emphatic, welcoming and hard working: she cooked us a delicious dinner, helped us with the laundry and always offered great conversations. Thank you Cilene for your hospitality!

Great costumer service, excellent location, very clean and comfortable, kitchen nicely equipped.

The apartment is big and spacious and having a spot in a garage right across the street was great. Everything you need is within walking distance, shops and banks, cafes and restaurants and of course, the beach.. there is even a friendly cafe right downstairs in the building. The balcony up on the roof is great for mountain sunsets. I found it to be a great base for local hikes. Boca do Risco was great!

The location of the apartments is perfect — 11/10. Everything you might need is within just a couple of minutes on foot: beaches, cafes, and even two large supermarkets. There is also a bus stop very close by. Everything is within walking distance and can be reached in just a few minutes. The apartments are located on a completely quiet street, which is very valuable for the city center. It’s the peaceful side of the center. You also have the whole space to yourselves — no neighbors above or below, and all levels of the apartment are exclusively yours. Excellent communication with the hosts. They are very polite, positive, and always willing to help as much as possible.

- Good location - Friendly attentive owner - well furnished and equiped

The apartment is in the center of lovely town of Machico, next door to church in the lovely center. Apartment is spacious, with 3 nicely decorated bedroom and living room with a wonderful view. Terrace with a view of church is spectacular, but if you are not an early bird as we are, have in mind that the church bell rings every morning at 7 under your window. So far the best experience in Madeira. Easy walk to beach and playground. Grocery supermarket is 5 minute walk.

A quiet and clean hotel. Everything is neat. It's conveniently located near the airport, but there's no noise at all – perfect for a relaxing sleep.Good parking!!! Walking from the airport with luggage takes over an hour and a half uphill. It's better to take a taxi or be prepared with strong legs and a strong heart. 🤗

Exactly what we were looking for - quite simple, close to the airport. Got perfect beds for all of our children, easy to park nearby. The view is not amazing - there is street but during night not much traffic - we were sleeping well.

Great location to explore east side of the island. Beautiful view from the balcony on a quiet street and steps away from the amazing viewpoint. Close to Machico and all the great restaurants and beaches.

The location here at Cozy Noia is superb! The parking right in front of the house is a definite bonus as streets in Madeira are narrow and having to worry about parking is not fun. This location was very peaceful and quiet, yet close enough to walk to a coffee shop/bakery and small supermarket within 1 to 1.5km even a great pizza place not too far away. We had a lot of hikes planned so this was a perfect location to get to all of the Eastern routes we had on our list. The house itself was super clean and very comfortable. It had all the necessary equipment to cook our own meals. The host is also very kind and helpful as I could not fly in the first two days as high winds in Madeira and flights were cancelled. Then, I locked myself out of the house within the first few minutes that I was there (didn't realize that the door would lock automatically from the outside as doors in Canada are not like this) My phone was in there too but a kind neighbour that I communicated with called the host for us and within about 10 minutes we were let into the house. I was ever so thankful to everyone. I would highly recommend this nice little house.

Perfect apartment in the heart of Machico, literally next door to 2 large supermarkets and 10 minutes walk from the beach. The apartment is fully equipped and has everything you could possibly need. Impeccably clean too!

Lovely clean and compact living place, large enough for tall individuals with suitable kitchen equipment and dining area for a pleasant stay. Loved the back garden and close proximity to the beach/supermarket! Patrício was a friendly host who we would love to come stay at his property again!

The apartment was perfect size for one person and had all the amenities I needed. A quick car ride into downtown Machico.
