Åägens itself was not available so I cannot tell anything about it. We was standing in front of the property and had to phone to the owner, who informed us that there were problems with heat. So we went back into the town where he had another house for rent. However this arranged us very good because we were going to the “Meddelalterfesten” in Söderköping and we could go by feet. This house belongs to the kommun, municipality, and was quite okay. There were 7-8 rooms, 3 toilets and 2 showers. Breakfast room was small but nice.

The location of the property for me was excellent -- I was travelling on business and the hotell was just walking distance away. The tram stop was also nearby, so connection to city centre excellent. The staff was very friendly and breakfast very delicious. There was also an opportunity to make myself coffee in the evening without disturbing anybody. In total the hotel was 10/10 for the money I paid.
