Cheap hotels in Themi

Edwin was very accommodating. And so was Lidya. We had trouble with the credit card machine/internet. So Lidya accompanied us to the ATM so we could get some cash to pay for the hotel bill. The flight the next day to Kilimanjaro Airport was early so we requested a six o clock am drop off to the Kilimanjaro Airport. The driver picked us up around 6:00 am and we got to the airport around 7:00 am. But before we left, the hotel prepared a box break fast for us to go. Thank you Edwin and Lidya. Thank you Jamal and Prego our drivers to Kilimanjaro Airport.

Everything was great. The room was clean and spacious

Very clean and comfortable beds! helpful staff

Above all, the staff at the reception were exceptionally kind. Regina, Goodluck, and all the other staff members were incredibly welcoming and helpful. And the food at the restaurant on the 1st floor of the hotel was truly to my taste. Since I enjoyed the breakfast (included in the stay) and dinner here, I didn't need to specifically search for other restaurants. I arrived in Arusha in the Impala bus from Nairobi, getting off at the Arusha Clock Tower. I walked slowly to the accommodation using an offline Google map that I had downloaded in advance. For the SIM card, the accommodation arranged for a Vodacom staff member to come, so I was able to purchase it comfortably right at the hotel. Khan's Barbeque, which is located very close by, was worth visiting once. I traveled to Moshi by taking a bus from the bus stand right in front of the hotel, and the fare was very cheap at 5,000 shillings. I stayed here twice—once before the Serengeti tour and again after the Serengeti tour. The location, the hotel's restaurant, and the friendly staff—these three things were all great here. I highly recommend it!

Noemi is a very engaged hostel manager with empathy and flexibility. The beds, floors, sanitaries are VERY clean. The complimentary breakfast is fresh& tasty. I had wonderful sleeps. Nearby city center plus great markets, shops, bus stations. Highly recommended.

Nice hotel and very nice stuff

The service was the best service I could got, thanks to staff

We had a comfortable stay as a family. The Barick was very good to us. The facilities were good

I liked Bariki, the young man who received us and served us with his heart. I love the premises. The road to the place was not so attractive, but on entering the compound, i was totally okay.

The staff (Adam, Emmanuel, everyone) were fantastic. They went out of their way to be friendly, gave great recommendations to eat, good safety advice, were patient in helping me pick up basic phrases in swahili, and also gave info on transportation etc. The top floor terrace is fantastic for breakfast and dinner as well as a chance to relax with a soda or beer and meet other travelers. Breakfast is pretty basic with fruit, tea, coffee, toast, cereal. The location was an easy 8 minute walk to the bus station. I felt pretty safe during the day for a solo traveler though like most places, I'd be street smart and not wander around at night. I was able to hand wash and line dry my laundry, walk a few minutes to nearby markets, and head out for great local food in the area. The rooms are pretty basic with bed, ceiling fan, and small desk. There's a big padlock on each door that you keep the key to. The bathrooms on each floor were very clean though shower /toilet are in the same stall so it's pretty tight and definitely not luxurious. It was a great home base for before and after safari and the price is a great value. I met international who were volunteering in Arusha and who were staying there for 6-8 weeks. There's also volunteer opportunities posted on the ways. Other guests were really quiet and polite. I'd definitely want to come back.

Location, Staff recognize me as repeated guest. All staff were helpful and great

The place is calm, and welcoming, and makes you want to stay more.

Creme is a beautiful, cosy, and well-appointed rustic suite that's excellently located near everything you'd want to do or anywhere you'd want to go in Arusha. The room is beautifully designed, spacious, spotlessly clean and has a full-service kitchen, fridge, smart TV, microwave and any amenities you may need for a long or short stay. The owner is a top-class communicator, very responsive, responsible and considerate. In short, I highly recommend this spot for business or leisure. The house is a modernized, repurposed version of an older house near the Fire Station police quarters. Thus, it is very safe. The street walking up to it may be hard to spot on your first day if you arrive at night, but the owner is so gracious and came out to meet us at 1AM in the morning. A top-class gentleman.

The amazing host was super helpful with all our questions and needs. The place is in a quiet area walking distance from the center. The breakfast provided was simple, delicious, and nutritious! Great atmosphere, rooms are nice and clean, the little backyard is on the river and it's STUNNING!

The private room is clean and spacious. Everything works, including hot shower and wifi.
