- Welcome to Botanic Sanctuary Antwerp: A Destination of its Own, Where 5-star Luxury Meets Antwerp Legacy. Pretty much everything! Amazing hotel, amazing staff, food was spectacular, location is perfect. Certainly one of the best places we have stayed.

If I have to sum up in one word, the apartment is PERFECT. Location is absolutely central, host is wonderful and very helpful, the apartment is very modern and extremely well furnished, breakfast was brought to us exactly at the hour we agreed on and we had warm croissants and bread which were very tasty. There is a big TV with many channels, sophisticated Nest climate control, excellent kitchen facilities, and so on, and so on. The parking is 50 meters away and is very convenient. We really felt special there.

The rooms were clean and spacious. A friendly girl at the reception. It was very nice to be congratulated on my birthday.

We stayed in Apt. 3/1 for 5 nights and enjoyed our stay in the beautiful and clean apartment. The full kitchen was great (no microwave though). The living area was quite roomy with a very comfy sofa and table for 4 with chairs. Lots of windows and light and a lovely view over the square. Steps from the Museum Plantin-Moretus, which was excellent. A five minute walk got us into the heart of the historic city center and many restaurants & bars. Very quiet after 9:00 pm. The beds were comfortable and slept well. We took day trips to Brussels and Gent from Antwerp. The train station is a lovely 20 min walk each way. We did not deem using a tram necessary. We did use an Uber when we had our luggage. Hauling our luggage up the steps was doable and definitely worth staying in a place like this. Communication with Calvin was good. He always responded quickly. The check-in time was held at 4:00 pm but Calvin allowed us to drop off our bags earlier, which we greatly appreciated. We loved Antwerp and loved staying here. Expensive but worth it.

Yes this apartment has all the obvious comforts you need for a amazing stay: comfy beds, spacious rooms, luxurious bathroom and amazing kitchen with all appliances. But its the little extra that made this apartment from a 8 or 9 into a 10, its the little things to show you that the owners really care about a good and comfy stay: phone chargers provided next to the bed, enough fresh linnen and towels on the house, amazing christmass decorations for the holidays, extra appliances like a toaster, smart and super fast Internet, (electric) candles everywhere, amazing lights on every ceiling, complementary coffee and tea and even q-tips and cottons provided in the bathroom. Enjoyed all the comforts, we will come back!

We loved everything, it was a comfortable place to stay for two family members who want their own bedroom. I agree with some of the reviewers that the layout is a bit of an issue as one of the bedrooms serves also as a passage, but for us that was not an issue, since we just didn't use it. The kitchen is amazing, coffee machine, dinning area, there was a lot of thought put into designing this place and it shows. Lots of small details around the house that made the stay extremely comfortable and nice. The location is also great. The place was also very clean and felt well taken care of.
