Le Monastère des Augustines, a health and wellness centre, is a former monastery from the 17th century that has been completely restored. This was such a fortunate find for our first trip to Quebec City! The location was perfect - a 5 minute walk from the central shopping/restaurant area, and it had a small parking lot onsite. The hotel was pristine. Walking to our room felt like walking through history.

The bedroom was very clean and spacious, the bathroom was small but very clean. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The house is lovely with plenty of parking. The breakfast is continental with a good choice and tasty homemade waffles. Highly recommended.

Les Lofts du Mile End-Plateau Mont Royal. Ubicado en Montreal, a 2,3 km de Estadio Conmemorativo Percival Molson y a 3 km de Universidad McGill, ofrece vistas a la ciudad y wifi gratis. This was our first visit to Montreal. We enjoyed our stay at this apartment. It has three nice bedrooms and two baths. There’s a full laundry inside the apartment. The street that the apartment is on is very convenient having multiple markets nearby and a short walking distance to both are Fairmount Bagel and St-Viateur Bagel. There are also a few restaurants within walking distance. The only thing is that this apartment is on the very top floor without elevators. Every day we would have to walk up approximately four flights of stairs. if you want to use the subway, it is about a 20 minute walk from the apartment. We did this a couple times but in freezing weather it was a little bit too far. We made more use of Uber to get us into the old part of town, which is not in walking distance. I would stay here again, if I was still able to walk up for flight upstairs.

Les Oursons B&B was extraordinary in every way - the hosts were warm, open, and helpful. They even cooked breakfasts that various guests requested and everything was fresh and delicious. The location was secluded and quiet in all the best ways. My visit felt like a mini retreat - restorative and peaceful. The sauna is a great way to end the day with a plunge in the lovely pool after. I will definitely return to this wonderful place!
