The hotel (actually a charming villa) was in a prime location, close to all the major attractions. The lady at the reception 🥰🥰🥰 was very friendly, welcomed us with complimentary chocolates. Both check-in and check-out were professionally handled and easy. The room was beyond comfortable, spotless and spacious, with elegant décor. Breakfast was a feast, with a wide variety of delicious options. Great restaurants and train station within walking distance. Ability to store your luggage after check-out. The fully renovated studio apartment was in a great position a minute walk from the Grande Piazza, with large windows and a sit-down balcony. Fully equipped kitchen with oven, cooktop and coffee machine was a welcome extra. Ideal for a couple staying in Locarno for several days/ week. Parking in the Schloss grounds is right next to the front entrance.

Situated in Brione sopra Minusio, 3.6 km from Piazza Grande Locarno, Boutique Centrale features views of the city. The location was so beautiful, away from the crowds with magnificent view. The lady who takes care of the hotel was very accommodating and gave us good tips regarding the area.

Offering a terrace and city view, Depandance Garni Golf is located in Ascona, 1.4 km from Golfclub Patriziale Ascona and 3.2 km from Piazza Grande Locarno. The rooms were large, the bathroom was also large, the beds were good, the breakfast was excellent, with many options and very good quality breads and cheeses. The hosts were very friendly, they got us free travel passes for the duration of our stay, they paid attention to our needs.

Charme Hotel al Torchio is located in Ascona, 3.1 km from Piazza Grande Locarno and 41 km from Lugano Station. With free WiFi, this 3-star hotel offers a concierge service and luggage storage space. Wonderful and helpful staff, which was exceptionally friendly and professional, provided very helpful tips for stay/ area/ outings, with great communication. Learned, that the building has a lot of interesting history. Impeccably clean place. Spacious room and bathroom. Tasty, high quality and varied breakfast. Located in a (quiet, high quality) pedestrian zone, but accessible by car to drop off bags. Just a very short walk to the lakeside promenade, with lots of restaurants, and the boat landing. We had a great couple of days there and loved the area.
