The location was great, just next to the train station. Having a lake-view room will make your trip unforgettable. The room was quiet and the staff were very kind. Located near the center and shopping street and adjacent to the lake.

This was one of the most beautiful and luxurious places where we have ever stayed! Our room with huge terrace was gorgeous, both modern and functional, and tastefully designed with antique furniture. The bed was large and very comfortable. We slept with the double doors wide open, and woke up with a view of the mountains. Since the weather was good, we spent much time on the terrace, which was our extended living room. The fancy espresso maker in the room did not have decaf capsules, so after mentioning this to our hosts, they graciously provided a different espresso maker in the shared kitchen. That kitchen has everything you could wish for. The bathroom attached to our room was new and gorgeous, with a bathtub as well as a shower.

Michelin 3-star restaurant with fantastic food. Superb breakfast with home-made bread, always warm and delicious. The room with a little balcony and a gorgeous view of the mountains and church. Sitting on the balcony and sipping the Vermerntino - what can be better on a sunny day. The room itself might be bigger; we were with our daughter and had 2 tiny rooms, but it wasn`t a big problem for us. Anyway, this is a unique chance to stay in a traditional stone house made of gray granite with a slate roof. We saw a lot of them in the Ticino region in Switzerland

Offering a terrace and city view, Depandance Garni Golf is located in Ascona, 1.4 km from Golfclub Patriziale Ascona and 3.2 km from Piazza Grande Locarno. The rooms were large, the bathroom was also large, the beds were good, the breakfast was excellent, with many options and very good quality breads and cheeses. The hosts were very friendly, they got us free travel passes for the duration of our stay, they paid attention to our needs.

Wonderful and helpful staff, which was exceptionally friendly and professional, provided very helpful tips for stay/ area/ outings, with great communication. Learned, that the building has a lot of interesting history. Impeccably clean place. Spacious room and bathroom. Tasty, high quality and varied breakfast. Located in a (quiet, high quality) pedestrian zone, but accessible by car to drop off bags. Just a very short walk to the lakeside promenade, with lots of restaurants, and the boat landing. We had a great couple of days there and loved the area.
