The family-run Bristol hotel is situated in a central yet quiet location in Zermatt, between the train station and the Klein Matterhorn cable car. It offers a spa area and free WiFi in all areas. My room was opposite side of the Matterhorn and could not see it from the room, but I could see nice view of Zermatt town from the terrace. And the hotel is located in front of the best spot to see Matter-Horn so you can enjoy the view of Matterhorn just a few steps out from the hotel. The room was also clean and cozy.

Hotel Walliserhof Zermatt ligger sentralt til i Zermatt, 300 meter fra jernbanestasjonen, og er bygget som en typisk Wallis-chalet. Overnattingsstedet har et spa-område med badstue og boblebad. Chic hotel with an excellent selection for breakfast. Stayed only for one night as we were travelling around quite a bit but would definitely stay again!

I Ovronnaz, 28 kilometer fra Sion golfbane, ligger Hôtel des Muverans, som har en hage, gratis privat parkering, en fellesstue og en terrasse. Beautiful hotel, cozy, clean and lovely mountain views from the sunny balcony. The bed was so comfortable that I didn't want to get up! The staff was very friendly and attentive and the breakfast was delicious and varied. Thank you for the birthday chocolates too!

Mountain Majesty Apartment with Stunning Views ligger i Täsch og har gratis sykler, en hage og en terrasse i tillegg til gratis WiFi og utsikt over hagen. Amazing. Perfect view. Recommended.

I Martigny-Ville, bare 44 kilometer fra Montreux jernbanestasjon og 37 kilometer fra Mont Fort, ligger Martigny Youth Hostel, som har gratis WiFi over hele overnattingsstedet. The staff was extreamly welcoming and helpful. The facility clean and provided all needs. There are a few plasent places to sit within and near the hostel. Location perfect.

Bare 21 kilometer fra Sion golfbane ligger SWISSPEAK Resorts Thyon 4 Vallées, som har restaurant, en hage, en fellesstue og en terrasse. Stunning views, cozy stay – just a few things to be aware of The location is absolutely beautiful – the view is breathtaking! The road up is a typical mountain road with narrow, winding sections, so drive carefully. 🏡 Our apartment was clean and well-maintained. The bedroom was very comfortable – the bed was great, though the pillows are quite big and high, which might not suit everyone. 🍳 The kitchen is fully equipped, but a few items are a bit worn – for example, the potato peeler was rusty. Also, note that there is no soap or shower gel in the bathroom, so make sure to bring your own. A funny detail: if you need extra toilet paper, you have to request it at reception and pay 0.50 CHF per roll. 🧼 Overall cleanliness was very good. There was a bit of dust in some areas – maybe the apartment hadn’t been used since winter – but towels and linens were fresh and clean. 🚗 Parking is available, but it’s paid. Getting from the parking lot to the room was a bit confusing – we had to switch between three elevators – but you do receive a map with instructions, so don’t worry too much. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 There’s a small play area for kids with a lovely terrace where parents can relax and enjoy the view. It could use a few more games or toys to make it more engaging. 👀 Our room didn’t have a direct view, but that wasn’t a problem – the terrace offers amazing scenery, and even the walk from the parking lot gives you incredible views. 🤝 The staff was polite and helpful, though not particularly warm – they could be a bit friendlier. 💸 Overall, the value for money was very good, and I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful mountain escape with all the basics covered.

Hotel Porta Cervino ligger i Täsch, med Zermatt jernbanestasjon bare 5,6 kilometer unna. Excellent location right opposite the train station. On site parking. Modern, immaculate. Premium amenities (comfortable beds, fluffy duvets, quality bath soap)

I Zinal, 40 kilometer fra Crans-sur-Sierre golfbane, ligger SWISSPEAK Resorts Zinal, som har en hage, privat parkering, en terrasse og en restaurant. We loved that our room had a balcony and we could hear the river flowing outside. We also loved having a kitchen as meals in town were expensive so it was great to cook in a bit and have breakfast in the morning. The beds were very comfortable. The location was convenient to hiking, transit stops, shops and restaurants in town. The room was cozy but very well appointed and great for our group of 4 adults.
