A family hostel with great care. Very clean and furnished with many small details, making the hostel feel very warm. Equipped with kitchen, kitchen utensils are very complete and clean. We wanted to visit some of the more than ten wooden churches on the island. The boss gave us a lot of detailed travel advice, which benefited us very much. The location of the hotel is also very good, 10 minutes walk from the bus stop, with sea view rooms, really beautiful! We had a nice stay here for four nights.

Great little hotel attached to a popular restaurant and bar. Located very close to the Plaza de Armas and restaurants but not noisy. Helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast good with customer cooked eggs. Room very efficient for the class of hotel, including thoughtful extras.

Boasting a garden, terrace and views of sea, ALMA CHILOTA is situated in Castro, 18 km from Nuestra Señora de los Dolores Church. We had the King room. The viewis unbelievable. windows all around with a view to the sea and birds flying around. Beautiful property from entrance to the top floor.

A very helpful owner and staff. The owner had great advice on where to visit, including a great penguin tour that I took on my last day. The room was also good, with a private bath. The common area was spacious too.

We really liked both the location and the place ! Very comfortable and charming with a beautiful view on the bay, fully equipped, staff and clients both very nice and welcoming. Situated in Castro in the Chiloe region with Church of San Francisco nearby, Refugio Insular features accommodation with free private parking. The family was super kind. The facilities were always clean. We felt incredibly welcomed even though our spanish is very poor. The hosts made an effort to answer our questions and help us plan our days. Super close to the bus terminal! Cant recommend this place enough!

Located in Ancud and only 1.3 km from Arena Gruesa Beach, Hostal Casa Damasco provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. The property has city and inner courtyard... The location was amazing. Literally like 1 minute to the coast from the hostel(walking) and only a few blocks from the artisanal market and to the towns’ busy area. The house was decorated beautifully and was very spacious. The host Raúl was very intelligent, well mannered, and informative. Though, I didn’t use it, he offers tours in his Hostel (penguins, the town, etc). Very good communication with him and he recommended us good places to eat and where to visit within Ancud and where to go afterwards. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was perfect. Private parking available upon request. Central AC in the house, so we slept nice and warm.
