We spend 4 nights here and I can’t recommend it enough: - quiet, chill, relaxing vibe, you have a corner of paradise nearly to yourself - clean, the team takes care of the place and makes it very comfortable (not easy when sand easily gets everywhere) - delicious food for very reasonable prices and plenty of options (we also saw other, much higher prices in the area and thought Carey Beach priced food and drinks in such a way that it doesn’t break the bank) - very polite and attentive staff, the team is as present as you want them to be, very helpful, always with a smile - nice beach, water was great to take a swim, we could watch pelicans hunt for fish - the activities offered were great: we went on a snorkel trip and had massages at the beach. All in all: fantastic! Relaxing! Would highly recommend!

Hotel Playa Scondida Barú is a rustic, intimate, and cozy accommodation on Barú Island, very close to Cholón Bay—ideal for travelers seeking tranquility, comfort, and an authentic experience. We had an amazing stay at this property - the staff are so lovely and extremely helpful and accommodating. It feels like an exclusive experience because it's secluded and not over-packed with guests. The food we had here was the best during our trip to Colombia, the chefs deserve all the praise for cooking up some delicious dishes. Cocktails were tasty - we felt so spoilt with the service we received. Lots of great nooks and secluded areas to read a book or lounge by the pool. I would highly recommend staying at this property if you are looking for a relaxing break. Thank you so much to the great team at Playa Scondida!

The rooms, the food, especially the food it was always served hot and delicious, they're lemonade was always on point cold and refreshing the valet there he was so attentive and always aware of what was needed. Solarium Beach Club is all operated by solar energy that was awesome. If you're interested in a camping experience on the beach, this is the place. We went as a couple, but it is very family oriented. My husband and I are planning to return next year. All we need to remember is to bring snacks in a small cooler. This was truly a camping on the beach experience. Thank you, Solarium Beach, for an awesome stay😍

We spent a whole week there and didn’t want to leave. The place is beautiful and well kept up. The pool was refreshing, with comfortable loungers. Judith, the cook and housekeeper provided excellent service and delicious food and cocktails. We had the big room on the second floor with the spacious private deck and loungers.
