Situated in El Valle, 2.2 km from Playa El Almejal, TORTUGA BAY Eco Hotel features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. We did a tour to Utria National park. My expectation was entering the jungle with a nature guide to look for local animals. Instead we went on a beach tour. So be sure you explaine correctly what you expect to get the right tour. The other morning we went alone on a little path behind the hotel and managed to see a group of monkeys. So there are wild animals around. For the locals they are just so normal, they don't mention them. Among the local birds are also eagles. Same thing, locals won't mention them as special, as the are regularly seen.

Located in Capurganá in the Choco region, Mi Cabaña El Maderal has a garden. It is situated 400 metres from Capurganá Beach and features a lift. The host is wonderful. She helped us arrange a taxi from the dock to the hotel and prepared an excellent breakfast from us. Nice terrace outside to sit and relax. Comfortable beds.

Located on the beachfront in Bahía Solano, Refugio Mr Jerry Eco Hostal has a terrace. The property features sea and inner courtyard views. Super friendly staff, serving great food from their own kitchen, they have a really good chef. The owner made the best out of my trip and gave me many recommendations and did also a whale watching tour. I felt personally appreciated to be there.

Set in Quibdó, Kamaleb Farallones Hotel offers a bar. Featuring room service, this property also has a restaurant and a terrace. The hotel features family rooms. The staff is very attentive to your needs and super friendly. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The Police Station is just across the street so it's extremely safe.

The owners are very kind and welcoming. They gave my friend and I the best recommendations for local restaurants, shops, and activities. They organized a day trip for us on their boat to the hot springs, a waterfall, a beautiful small Pueblo for lunch, and an isolated beach with blue sand for an afternoon swim in the sun before returning. I will definitely be back to stay with Melissa and Rafa and hang out with their friends, Willi and Santiago. Really felt like being welcomed into someone's home and family, not staying at a hotel. If you're staying in Nuqui, do yourself a favor and stay here.

Facing the beachfront, Cabañas Iracas del Mar offers 3-star accommodation in Nuquí and has a garden, restaurant and bar. The accommodation features room service and free WiFi throughout the property. This place feels like home. Daisy (owner) is just incredible person that carries about every guest like it is her own kid. During my stay I felt that I visited my aunt. Constant attention to the guest comfort. She was cooking food for us, helping with all tours and activities and making sure that we could rest properly. It is more than 10 stars.

Cabaña tellin has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Termales - agua caliente - nuqui. The accommodation features nightclub and a shared kitchen. Perfect place to stay. You can surf right in front of cabaña. The whole Termales village is amazing!

Located in Capurganá, Casa Wago has an open-air bath, a bar and a shared lounge. The property features lake and garden views, and is 2.6 km from Capurganá Beach. A jewel of a hostel in a beautiful spot right at the seashore. It is 3 or 4 km away from Capurganá in it´s own little bay. It costs a little effort to walk here or to find a boat to the nearby Bahia de Aguacate. But you are rewarded by a paradisiacal location of the hostel with the view and the sound of the waves only 50m away. Maxim and his team really look after their guests and make sure, they have all possible comfort and info for their stay. Breakfast changes every day and is included in the price of the accomodation. The lunches and dinner you can order at Casa Wago are even more fantastic. On the cozy terrace you can meet all travelers and staff during the meals and feel immediately like in a family.

Situated in Bahía Solano, Ecohotel Riomar Mecana features free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden, a restaurant and a bar. Some units have a balcony and/or a patio with mountain or river views. Where do I start? The property was up the coast from Bahía Solano on Mecana Beach. A remote and beautiful part of the Pacific Coast. I didn't like the hotel I had originally booked so I quickly packed up and made this reservation last minute. I didn't know I'd have to take a boat from Bahía Solano (Mutis) to get there (I didn't read closely enough) but the owner Laura quickly arranged to have us picked up at the dock and we were sitting eating fresh fish and drinking cold beer after a short (20 minute) boat ride. This place was magical, both because of the setting but also largely due to Laura's energy and passion for the property. She is a warm, caring and accepting person and I feel lucky that we got to meet her and stay at her ecohotel. The food was delicious, fresh fish every day and everything was made in house. The place was perfect and just two minutes walk through the trees to the spectacular and peaceful beach. If you're the kind of traveller who needs air conditioning, sterilized rooms or you are high maintenance in any way I would say that this property is probably not for you. If you're like me and love to be close to nature and want to unplug and enjoy then don't hesitate to book here. I would go back tomorrow if I could!
