Location is great - easy walk to the docks and close by to Concha for snorkelling. They offer all the most popular Isabela tours, and the prices they quoted us were much better than what we’d already pre-paid on Santa Cruz. Would recommend and will definitely be back!

We ended up booking a few tours through her as too and we were so pleased with the quality of those as well. Can't recommend the Black Pearl enough!

The two owners are so so nice and patient and helpful. They spent an incredibly huge amount of time every day to help us with all our requests and bad preparation ;-) The tour they organised was excellent and cheap (never book online, always directly!) and they easily got us ferry tickets. All of that on very short notice (for the next day). The hotel is like 5 min from the center of the city and clean, the beds are comfortable, the water pressure okay. The main benefit of booking this hotel is clearly the two owners. They are so nice and caring, I just can't find the words to describe how that felt...
