After really disappointing hotels in Cairo and Luxor in the same range, this one really exceeded my expectations. It’s on an island, but don’t worry, it’s really easy and cheap to get across with a public ferry for 15-20 egp during daytime hours, and even during the night, when the price is 75-100 egp because they transport only you. The staff is really nice, the garden fabolous and smell so nice, the rooms are super clean (cleaning lady will empty your trash and make your bed every day), you get all the toiletaries and two towels, even complimentary peanuts awaits you in the room. In the main hall, they have a fridge with water and sodas you can buy for a regular price, and you can also use that fridge for you own food. It's super quiet since there is no traffic on the island. Having a quiet room is something you really need when you travel around Egypt.

يقع مكان إقامة "Bonita Chillhouse" في أسوان، على بعد 22 كم من ضريح الأغا خان، ويتميز بصالة مشتركة ومواقف خاصة للسيارات مجاناً وتراس. The staff at the accommodation were extremely kind and very helpful, especially with arranging taxis and other requests. The room was very clean, and all the facilities such as the shower and toilet worked without any issues. (It seems this place is quite new.)

When we arrived at the ferry dock in Aswan, we were greeted by Ebrahim, the boatman from the guest house. He & his friends/relatives helped to carry our luggages down the stairs to the boat. The boat ride to the guest house was absolutely breathtaking, we were so glad we decided to stay on Elephantine Island. Once we arrived at the guest house, one of the hosts, Omar, invited us to the rooftop to have our welcome drinks. So we sipped our hibiscus tea while enjoying the beautiful view of the Nile River during sunset, it was so serene. We had dinner & breakfast the next day on the rooftop as well, Abu Nasser is an amazing chef! Omar & Abu Nasser were very warm & welcoming, we felt at home right away. The location of the guest house is on the quieter side of Elephantine Island, facing the Aga Khan Mausoleum across the river, it felt very peaceful. There are no cars, tuk-tuks or motorcycles on Elephantine Island, so we walked everywhere, to the ferry dock & to the restaurants. It was honestly a very enjoyable walk because we got to see how some of the locals lived. Our rooms were clean & nicely decorated, each room had the view of the Nile River. The shower pressure & the WIFI were good.

يقع مكان إقامة "Nebro Nubian Guest House - Adults Only" في أسوان على بُعد 18 كم من ضريح الأغا خان و11 كم من متحف النوبة، ويوفر واي فاي مجاني وجهاز تكييف وتراس ومطعماً. Hafez the owner is an extraordinary person. He created this guesthouse which is perfect for a few days stay in every way. Hafez also helped us to contact the transfer company during our further journey because they did not speak English. I can highly recommend this accommodation.

This guest house was clean and well located close to the ferry terminal. The place was a bit more expensive than other options but had a modern shower, reliable wifi, and a peaceful rooftop - which were all important to me. Homemade breakfast was simple and the cook even packed sandwich for my very early tour. Mahmoud was super nice and chill, showing a sunset spot and nearby attractions in this lovely nubian village. They had their tour connections, which I didn’t get to use it as I prefer independent travel but could be convenient for those who want tours to explore Aswan. Overall, great nubian experience. Just make sure you take ferry from ‘South’ terminal. Otherwise you will have to walk long in unpaved dirt road.

They made sure that we had everything we needed and had transport to and from the airport and train station. The location on the island was amazing and only a short boat ride away from the mainland. The rooms were super nice. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to Aswan!

يقع مكان إقامة "King Mina Nubian House" ضمن 17 كم من السد العالي بأسوان و24 كم من Tombs of the Nobles، ويوفر غرفاً في أسوان. We enjoyed our stay at King Mina so much! The staff is super friendly and very helpful, we were lucky to find this gem in the best Island. It was so peaceful and relaxing!
