Set in Aswan and with Aga Khan Mausoleum reachable within 23 km, The Mango Guest House offers express check-in and check-out, allergy-free rooms, a casino, free WiFi and a garden. Very helpful local staff, The room was comfortable for a family traveling with a child. The large size of the bathroom was a bonus. While the Mango is a a short walk through village streets from the ferry landing point on Elephantine, the staff made is easy to move our bags back and forth. The village itself was quiet, and very homely. People going about their lives, kids playing on the streets, no tourist traps. The ferry to and from the East bank of the Nile is also frequent, safe and inexpensive. Also all their electric plug points take both American and European two-pin (NB: Voltage is still local, so check compatibility)

Both the bedroom and the common area had huge windows with incredible views. - The location is perfect…directly across the street from the public ferry to Elephantine Island, and walking distance to cafes, restaurants, ATMs, pharmacy, etc. Since the hostel is on a main road, it’s easier to set up pickups and dropoffs for InDrive rides (some of the other places in Aswan can be difficult for drivers to find) - The hostel is brand new, and everything feels very fresh and clean. The big common area is nicely set up for both relaxing and meeting other travelers, and also has a kitchen that’s available for guests to use. - The private double was really big and spacious, with a huge comfortable bed and crisp clean sheets. And of course, the gorgeous view of the Nile! Overall, such incredible value for the price!

The staff was awesome, so hospitable and helpful. The place was spotless and well-decorated. They have a wonderful view of the Nile, which, along with breakfast, was the best part of my morning. I felt sad leaving. My best stay in Egypt so far.

Nala Narty Nubian House & Organic Farm has a garden, private beach area, a terrace and restaurant in Aswan. The location on an island is quite cozy and has an amazing view. We were nicely welcomed by our host Omar, even if it was in the middle of the night. The rooms were clean and well decorated, the view of the Nile from the room is stunning. The breakfast was based on local products and homemade dishes. Overall an exceptional experience, we were glad to have stayed there.

This guest house is located on Elephantine Island in the heart of the Village. The staff at Nubian Soul were very helpful and attentive to our needs and were always present to help us every step of the way. Bibo welcomed us graciously into his hotel, escorted us to our rooms and offered us a welcome drink on the terrance thereafter. He replied promptly to all inquiries on booking and/or watsapp. He even helped us arrange a private boat transfer off the island when the public ferry wasn't running. The Breakfast too was personal and quite homey Wifi was amazing and excellent speed. Clean bathroom and utilities.

They made sure that we had everything we needed and had transport to and from the airport and train station. The location on the island was amazing and only a short boat ride away from the mainland. The rooms were super nice. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to Aswan!

You can reach the hotel easily by boat. Very recommended!
