The hotel is located inside the imposing Avila Walls so that makes the experience special. It is less than 200m from one of the main gates next to which is the entrance to one of the three sections of the walls that are open to the public. It is also no more than 500m from the top attractions in Avila and about 1.6km from the Cuatro Postes Lookout for a panoramic view of the Avila Walls in their entirety. There are plenty of restaurants, cafes, gelaterias and shops well within walking distance from the hotel. The room itself was very comfortable and the bathroom sink is huge which makes doing simply laundry a lot easier. There was also complimentary muffins and coffee for breakfast and that was appreciated.

The owner is very patient and responsive. I left my hairdryer in the apartment and he sent it to me. The apartment is also clean and spacious. It’s close to the station as well as the main attractions.

This charming, elegantly designed, contemporary apartment was the ideal base from which to explore Avila. The children loved it and so did we. The attention to detail that the owners have put in to so many aspects... From the inviting dinner settings and coffee/buns and tea, through to thinking of all the essentials you might need. The lighting was spot on, the decor superb and you are literally across the road from the walls of Avila. Thank you for that little moment of parentheses in a busy life.

Well situated with 7 to 8 minute walk to old town. Supermarket next door. Elevator for baggage, double glazed windows blocking street noise, fresh fruit water and coffee. Smart TV large bathroom with Rituals products. We leveraged street parking as were there on a Saturday and Sunday and there were plenty of spots. Can also recommend the nearby bakery called Santa Gloria Bakery and coffee for breakfast and coffee.

It was big and very comfortable. There are no windows in any walls, but something similar in the roof... that was a great surprise. The kitchen was very comfortable as we stayed a few days and after 15 days in Spain, my family wanted some home-cooked meals. The owner was very responsive and made the check-in process very seamless.
