This Finnish Lapland property offers traditional cabins and a waterfront sauna next to Lake Inari. Guests can enjoy free WiFi, free parking and a beautiful setting surrounded by nature. WOW. What can I say? This was everything I’ve ever imagined and more. We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay in when we were in Inari. From waking up to the beautiful pink skies right above us and sleeping to the view of the aurora dancing over our heads, honestly it was so surreal. I loved that it was situation in a pretty remote area, it was so peaceful. If you’re here for the aurora, don’t even bother booking a tour because you will see it in the comforts of your cabin or you can just wait out my the lake and watch it dance over the frozen river. There’s a trail nearby you can explore by foot during the day that looks really magical with the pink skies, the staff suggested we check it out. The shops and restaurants are a bit of a walk away so we just bought some groceries and ate in our cabin most nights. There’s also a small hut by the lake where you can start a fire and have a little BBQ., which we did after getting some hotdogs from a the shops. Highly recommend this! Anyway we loved the place so much we extended another night, and lucky we did because there was an aurora storm that night too. I cannot recommend this place enough. Staying here was really a dream come true!!!

I’m not sure there’s enough to space to properly express how much we loved Jauri Resort. From the moment we arrived (and found out they had upgraded us for our 11 night stay) we were in love. Firstly, the staff was very communicative even before we arrived. We had to arrange a late check in, which was no problem at all. Once we were settled in to our beautiful cabin we realized Jauri is the best of both worlds. If you’re a traveller who prefers a self-sufficient Airbnb style place - this can be it. You have a kitchen and a private sauna and everything you need for an independent holiday. The beds are super comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked, it’s the perfect little apartment. However, if having a convenient restaurant steps from your door is something you want, they have that too. We enjoyed every meal we ate there. The staff is INCREDIBLY friendly and helpful and will organize anything you need. Tours can be started from your front door. We happened to stay during a cold snap (sub -35°) and after our little hybrid rental car decided to freeze up the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of. They organized a late check out and helped us find the easiest way to the airport. And all of this while being so lovely and friendly. My reviews seldom run this long, but in this case it is necessary. Both my husband and I can 100%, whole heartedly recommend Jauri Resort. We’re already trying to decide when to come visit again. The flat was warm and quiet, and has everything described. The host's communication was excellent, and though we didn't meet, we felt very welcomed. Thanks for the chocolate that was waiting for us! There were various touches that made it a nice place to stay with kids, and ours definitely looked forward to coming back every evening. It's an easy walk from the train station. It was manageable even with luggage in stormy weather.
