The property and grounds are beautiful and the chateau has been restored beautifully with character and charm. The location is excellent near Tournus, and hosts Christel and François are charming and hospitable. Highly recommend.

The chateau in the village was well worth a visit to see not just the chateau but the amazing collection of old motorbikes, aircraft and fire engines set in beautiful gardens. Great location to visit the area - Wine tasting at Santenay chateau excellent! Selection of homemade jams in the apartment was a lovely addition. Marie was an excellent host.

The hostess was very appreciative that we had booked the room although we were expecting something different than that which was presented. We had trouble finding the location as it was way off course outside the city center. We decided to stay as the hostess made a good impression and we had sympathy for her situation. As it turned out we had an excellent stay and are appreciative for her hospitality.

Very helpful in terms of securing a dinner reservation for us on day of arrival for same night. We also had an early checkout prior to time breakfast was to be served. She offered to have breakfast ready for us 30 minutes prior to regular breakfast start time. She was very proud of the property and interested in making us comfortable. Such a pleasant person - thank you Crystal! The property is quite lovely with lots of outdoor seating amongst beautiful flowers. Would love to return someday for longer stay.
