Located on the Ile d’Oleron, the Hotel Île De Lumière offers direct access to the beach. It has an outdoor swimming pool, a tennis court and many other facilities. The room was excellent, clean, comfortable and lovely decor. The pool looked wonderful, but a little too cold for a swim.

We only stayed one night but I could imagine a whole summer in these settings.

Located in La Cotinière, the recently renovated Résidence Clos des Aigrettes -Appartement de charme et confort à 30m du Port de La Cotinière provides accommodation less than 1 km from Plage de Matha... The location was fantastic. We could walk out of the property, and the sea and shops were just around the corner. We had a top floor gite , which was self contained, with our own private balcony. It was more than what we expected. We wished we could have stayed longer. The cycling routes around the island are great. We will definitely come back and stay at the same accommodation. Absolutely great location within walking distance to the centre and restaurants. Parking perfect just across the street. The owners very nice and welcoming. The hotel and room nice and clean… just perfect!!
