Located in El Paredón Buena Vista, 200 metres from El Paredon Beach, SHANTI SURF CAMP provides accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning and access to a garden with an outdoor swimming pool. Shanti is a little haven of perfect tranquility and only a few meters from the beach. Our room was spacious, clean with thoughtful decor and accessories including some interesting books. I loved the individual paintings both inside and out. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and kind. We arrived extremely early without warning and were offered breakfast immediately which was above and beyond but extremely thoughtful and much appreciated. They had our room ready for us within a few minutes so that we could enjoy our day around the pool. Mr Luis welcome was terrific and it was lovely to meet Manni the owner and share some of his abounding energy. We would highly recommend staying at Shanti and will certainly rebook next time we are back in El Paredon.

Angél the owner / host is an absolute legend, he went well over our expectations to make our stay at the hostel (and Guatamala!) a great one. Angél spoke great English and also helped us practice our Spanish. Bikes included, kayaks included, breakfast included, comfortable bed, nice long pool, some weights / yoga mats provided, free drinking water, fresh bath towels swapped mid stay.

I loved the peace of the house, loved the quiet and the design of it, so fresh and full of shadow spaces. The pool is delicious. Breakfast is very good. The rooms are private and cozy. Loved the big shower. Very nice house just to stay in and never go outside.

Everything here was perfect. Its a brand new property and it really shows how dedicated they are to making this one of the best places in el paredon. They have included breakfast which was amazing. Their restaurant was so good, i ended up eating all my meals here. Plus they're open later that every other place, which is great when you go out. I was able to order food at 1am last night!! They have the most extensive menu in paredon with options for every one including vegetarian options! The restaurant also has big tables for larger parties so me and my friends were all able to sit together. They do rentals which is great for the beach, i rented an umberella and cooler, which helped out so much since the sand is so hot. They are also the only place in paredon with real RAW papers and they also have other party supplies and vapes. The beds are the most comfortable beds ive slept in while traveling, AND they have AC, which is uncommon for dorms ive stayed in. It was super comfortable, and made my stay that much better. Everything is super clean, and they even have guest only areas on the property. I come to paredon often and this is the only place i will be a staying! I cant wait to see how they continue to grow!

Located in El Paredón Buena Vista and with El Paredon Beach reachable within 100 metres, Caracola Boutique Hostel provides a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a shared... The nicest hostel rooms I've stayed in with great facilities, and definitely the best kitchen I've found in any hostel in El Paredon (or Guatemala in general). The staff were super accommodating, I had an issue with my bed the first night and they were quick (and generous) to make sure it was sorted. I extended my stay several times. The hostel is perfectly social - I met great people who were up for socialising, but you don't have to deal with loud hostel music keeping you awake every night, as is the case with most other hostels in the area.
