Situated in Malang, Casa de Vie Tunggulwulung is a recently renovated accommodation, 3.5 km from Museum Mpu Purwa and 3.9 km from Tlogomas Recreation Park. Talk about luck! I tried to book their hostel again, but they were fully booked! Luckily, I switched to their homestay, and the service was just as wonderful. While the location is a little out of town, the fantastic service completely made up for it! The room was spotlessly clean, and their bed was seriously comfortable. Being able to watch Netflix right in my room? That’s a luxury I rarely found throughout my trip in Indonesia!

Set in Jakarta, 400 metres from Museum Bank Indonesia, House of Tugu, Old Town Jakarta offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Upon arrival at the hotel, everything was amazing. We were greeted with a cold towel and lovely fresh drink. We were then taken to our (upgraded!) room and offered a tour of the hotel grounds to get the lay of the land. The buildings and facilities are absolutely gorgeous and unique. Upon completion of the tour, we sat down for the included afternoon tea service at Babah Koffie which was so much more than I was expecting - it was almost like a meal! We had dinner at the other restaurant in the hotel, Jajaghu Restaurant. The green prawn curry and butter chicken curry dishes were wonderful! Breakfast the next morning was included and was also amazing. The coffee was to die for and we purchased some bags of coffee beans from their shop to take home. They allowed us a late check out and we also booked 30 minute massages for each of us, which were much more extensive than I was expecting. The back/neck massage was perfect before our long evening flight home. Wish we had booked a longer stay here!

Model J Hotel Jakarta Soekarno - Hatta Airport 曼居酒店 雅加达苏加诺哈达机场店 is set in Gardu, 20 km from Museum Bank Indonesia and 22 km from Dunia Fantasi. Excellent hotel with good shuttle service and extremely helpful staff. Excellent breakfast, only downside no restaurant for evening meals, Carl's Junior just around the corner however!

Set in Sidomukti in the East Java region, Dear traveller luxury glamping features a garden. This luxury tent offers a terrace. Hot water, owner was nice enough to let me rest for 2 extra hours after the check-out because I was too tired from the Tumpak Sewu waterfall...

Situated in Yogyakarta and with Museum Sonobudoyo reachable within 1.3 km, Sastro Place features concierge services, rooms, an outdoor swimming pool, free WiFi throughout the property and a garden. The staff is so nice ! We forgot part of our luggage and the staff was able to make a shipping arrangement for us and got our things mailed to another hotel further on our trip! Amazing ! The laundry service is also very nice to have at your doorstep.

Blue Garden Boutique Hotel features a fitness centre, garden, a terrace and bar in Jepara. Souper nice garden with a big pool. Everything is really well maintained and it‘s pretty to look at. Rooms were also pretty big and clean. Nice staff!

13 km from Watu Dodol in Banyuwangi, Green ijen homestay and tour features accommodation with access to spa facilities, wellness packages and fitness room. Great place to stay, staff are so friendly and also funny. We really enjoyed our stay
