Everything! Amazing location close to restaurants and cafes. Helpful and kind host who let us check in early and even check out late and shower after a day trip. Bed was comfortable and the whole place was decorated really nicely. Everything was clean and tidy. Water/tea/coffee and snacks provided. Bathroom with powerful shower and hot water. We’ve been travelling for a while and this has been our favourite stay. Can’t believe how cheap it was too.

Sleepy Raccoon felt more like a home than a hostel, and Muk treated us like we’re family. Could not have asked for a better hostel for our first time in Java: cozy, well stocked kitchen, close to Malioboro, clean beds and bathrooms and extremely helpful staff. I will definitely be back at Sleepy Raccoon every time I’m at Yogyakarta!
