In a quiet, residential location, the B&B is less than 10 minutes’ walk from Galway Cathedral. Great location, close to the centre but very quiet. Room was great and cosy, breakfast was excellent and huge!

All modern and spacious apartments have separate living rooms and kitchens. Each also offers a washing machine and free Wi-Fi. We informed the management of the estimated time of our arrival and told them we would get a taxi straight to the facility. When we arrived at the Westport train station we were met by a member of the management in a mini bus. Lovely surprise. When my husband and friend arrived much later that evening the kitchen was closed but they cheerfully reopened it and fed them with a fabulous plate of fresh fish and chips. The food was absolutely delicious and very plentiful. The owners and staff were wonderful, very warm and friendly. The apartment was very pleasant and comfortable. I cannot speak highly enough of the people of this warm and welcoming place. I hope to return there someday and very highly recommend it to people looking for a lovely vacation experience. Thank you again to the owners and staff of the Helm. Westport is a great little town in a stunningly beautiful location.😁👍

At breakfast, you can choose a full Irish breakfast, or something from the comprehensive menu, with homemade breads. We had an absolute amazing stay. Everything was perfect. It felt homely and cozy. Breakfast was exceptional. Location was good, it cost us €13 to go into down with a taxi. Highly recommend Kilbree House!
