Paula, the host, was super friendly and welcoming. The place was spotless, and I was impressed with how clean everything was. The bed and pillows were so comfy. I honestly haven’t slept that well in ages. I have trouble sleeping so a good bed, pillow, and ambiance is very important to me. The bathroom was spotless, really clean, and well-organized, which made it easy to get ready in the morning. I also had an amazing view from my room, which added to the peaceful vibe of the place. Breakfast was great too. There was a lot to choose from. Sausage, bacon, eggs, plus cereals, butter, jam, milk, and coffee. Everything was fresh and delicious. Paula also let me keep my luggage at the B&B for a few extra hours, which was really helpful. The place is super quiet and calm, with no noise at all. It’s the perfect spot to relax. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Offering a restaurant, Riverbank, Country Pub and Guesthouse is located in the countryside 10 minutes’ drive from Carrickmacross. Everything about this property is fabulous. Tucked away down country lanes , set on a river. Our welcome was warm and genuine. We found all the staff to be polite and friendly even though they were dealing with a roomful of people.We liked the food so much we had lunch, dinner and breakfast here. Definitely worth a detour.

Opposite the Beechill College, The Meadows Bed and Breakfast is just 2 minutes' walk from the Hillgrove Hotel and 8 minutes' walk from Monaghan town centre. Free WiFi access is available. Receptionist ANN was accommodating. The place is clean and smells good. Bed is very comfy and ambiance is relaxing. Good parking space. Good location. Affordable and suits the budget👍🏻
