Ronald and Maureen are exceptional hosts and wonderful people. It was great to get to know them during our short stay; they are so wholesome and feel like long-lost family! They were very accommodating on check-in time and helped escort us to our destination when our transportation fell through. The rooms are spacious and boast scenic views of the countryside. They made us a wonderful breakfast before our day's journey. We only wish we had more time with them! We certainly hope to be back again one day. Thank you for everything Maureen and Ronald! P.S. Offering a shared lounge and garden view, Hillgrove House is located in Boyle, 10 km from Ballinfad Castle and 15 km from Leitrim Design House. The place was incredibly calm and quiet. I slept like a log! The views from the kitchen window were beautiful even on a rainy day. And Margaret was an exceptional guest. Highly recommended!

Featuring lake views, The Little Flock Farm offers accommodation with free bikes and a patio, around 6 km from Claypipe Visitors Centre. Wonderful hosts and the area was quite beautiful! The included breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed sitting down and eating breakfast with the host! Cant wait to stay here again!

Ard Aoibhinn Roscommon Bed & Breakfast features garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Lecarrow, 8.2 km from Claypipe Visitors Centre. Doris and Kevin were the perfect hosts, beautiful home and the breakfast was fabulous, great nights sleep. Rooms bigger than you would expect and to be woken by birdsong was an added extra. The local pubs were about a mile or so down the road with a harbour if you fancy a walk.Athlone town only 10 minutes away if you fancy a more lively night out taxis available. All in all a great find and most definitely would recommend and hope to revisit in the near future.
