Maureen was lovely as well! The furnishings and the home were gorgeous and extremely comfortable. Absolutely delicious breakfast! Very accommodating host. A big bonus for us was meeting their wonderful dogs who were so adorable and friendly, but well controlled and never a bother. They were kept in a separate room until we asked to meet them. We got great advice on places to see and eat during our visit. We would not hesitate to stay there again!

A perfect place to relax and unwind with a lovely view of the lake..The loft room was very comfortable and tastefully furnished. We loved the added touch of a vase of beautiful gladioli flowers. We spent some time getting to know our hosts over a superb Irish breakfast in their cosy kitchen. Thank you for your warm hospitality.

Doris and Kevin were the perfect hosts, beautiful home and the breakfast was fabulous, great nights sleep. Rooms bigger than you would expect and to be woken by birdsong was an added extra. The local pubs were about a mile or so down the road with a harbour if you fancy a walk.Athlone town only 10 minutes away if you fancy a more lively night out taxis available. All in all a great find and most definitely would recommend and hope to revisit in the near future.
