Beautiful place, we were greeted with a warm welcome as we arrived by Ronald. Maureen was lovely as well! The furnishings and the home were gorgeous and extremely comfortable. Absolutely delicious breakfast! Very accommodating host. A big bonus for us was meeting their wonderful dogs who were so adorable and friendly, but well controlled and never a bother. They were kept in a separate room until we asked to meet them. We got great advice on places to see and eat during our visit. We would not hesitate to stay there again!

I slept like a log! The views from the kitchen window were beautiful even on a rainy day. And Margaret was an exceptional guest. Highly recommended!

Amber B&B, a property with a garden, is set in Ballyfarnon, 6.3 km from Ballinfad Castle, 17 km from Carrick-on-Shannon Golf Club, as well as 19 km from Sliabh an Iarainn Visitor Centre. Our host was exceptional! Anything we needed was promptly provided (extension cord, floor heater). She cooked us a traditional Irish breakfast and it was delicious! The country setting was quiet, beautiful and picturesque. We genuinely enjoyed our stay at the Amber Inn.
