Gleeson's Restaurant & Rooms is a lovingly restored 19th-century townhouse offering accommodation in Roscommon town centre, overlooking the town square. Loved this Gem in Roscommon Town. From the moment I arrived in the car park Noel the maintenance man helped me park, very nice ,helpful chap..Olivia on reception was so friendly and explained everything and arranged me a taxi to the wedding venue I was attending. The room was lovely, bed very comfortable and bathroom beautiful. The breakfast was perfect all included in price and 2 teabags in the teapot was a nice change. Very relaxed place, staff couldn't do enough for their guests. Highly recommend 100% Thank you Gleesons I'll definitely be back.

It was great to get to know them during our short stay; they are so wholesome and feel like long-lost family! They were very accommodating on check-in time and helped escort us to our destination when our transportation fell through. The rooms are spacious and boast scenic views of the countryside. They made us a wonderful breakfast before our day's journey. We only wish we had more time with them! We certainly hope to be back again one day. Thank you for everything Maureen and Ronald! P.S. We miss the dogs, too!

She shared her knowledge of the area which was helpful in trying to find our ancestors. The house was spic and span, our beds were comfortable and the showers had plenty of hot water! We had a quick breakfast of breads, toast, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, tea and coffee. Hillgrove House met our expectations and we would certainly return.
