Offering quiet street views, Vicolo Fiore Affittacamere II is an accommodation situated in Matera, 200 metres from Tramontano Castle and less than 1 km from Matera Cathedral. Incredible stay. We imagined it as an apartment but it is actually a bigger accommodation with many rooms. Everything is impeccable, complementary coffee, there is a mini bar (of additional charge, but not more expensive than supermarkets), bathroom is heaven and a bed almost as comfortable as the one we have at home. The place is really quiet, homey and private, not to mention super safe since they have a very good locking system. It is easy to park in the street, forget about being theft scared, the neighborhood is casual and the cars are safe out in the street, for sure. Now, if you are not comfortable with leaving the car in the street, there is a private parking lot very close to the accommodation and it costs 10€ per day. Lastly, the staff is really kind and helpful and the young woman at the reception speaks great English! We saw people commenting on how the breakfast bar is far away, but honestly it is just down the corner and the food is what they usually serve for breakfast, pastry and coffee, which really was enough, in my opinion. If you are still hungry or crave something savory, you can buy yourself some mini pizzas or panini right there in the bar.

Situated within 300 metres of Palombaro Lungo and 300 metres of Tramontano Castle, MaisonSilvi' in Matera features a bar and rooms with free WiFi. We had a fantastic trip to Matera, and our experience at this hotel made it even better. We arrived a bit earlier than the official check-in time, but the receptionist was incredibly kind and welcoming—she allowed us to check in early, which was greatly appreciated. The common area near the reception was very convenient, with amenities like a coffee table, coffee machine, fridge, and more—everything you might need was available. The room itself was beautiful and modern, with a stylish design and all the necessary comforts. Overall, everything exceeded our expectations, especially considering the reasonable price. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Matera!

Aquatio Cave Luxury Hotel & SPA is situated inside the Matera Sassi UNESCO World Heritage site. Featuring a on-site restaurant and free WiFi, the hotel is located 400 metres from MUSMA Museum. The half board package was great. The restaurant is really good. The Pool and Spa a must experience. The room was very comfortable. Location was the best.
