The entire hotel is fully renovated and well decorated. Our room was comfortable and had a beautiful view. The breakfast was delicious. We also had an apperitivo in the hotel terrasse that was just perfect. There is a spacious garage that was very handy considering that the hotel is in the historical center of Perugia. There is even a small gym with modern equipment just perfect for doing some exercising before dinner.

The breakfast was amazing. Can see that this is a family-run business and they try the best to keep the standard. They really treasure you as a guest. And, needless to say, it is seconds from the Duomo, the breathtaking cathedral, in Orvieto!

Hotel Il Palazzo is set in the left wing of Palazzo Bartocci Fontana, a 16th-Century building halfway between Assisi's Basilica of Saint Francis and Piazza del Comune square. Love everything about the hotel. It's located close to key attractions on the street in the middle level of the hills. Easy to walk up and down. Staff are very helpful. The street can be noisy during daytime but turns quiet and peaceful in the evening.
