The hotel staff from the reception to the restaurant to the housekeepers is perfect. Anything I asked for I get it ASAP. The owner Francisco and his mother is a leader not a boss and all his staff is like a family. Thanks to the whole QUERCETTA family starting from the reception Giorgia,Jacomo, Eleonora & Martina. The Chefs Giovanni, Lorenzo & Elisabetta. I try all the menu plus the Chef was making always a surprise dishes and all what I can say WOWWWWW. Set in the heart of Orvieto in a historic building, La Magnolia is just 100 metres from the cathedral. It offers free bike rental and air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi. The large room with full kitchen. Serena went out of her way to help me get a pair of pants hemmed. Very responsive to questions and made excellent suggestions for travel to other sites. Very good value.

Surrounded by countryside at the borders of Tuscany, Umbria, and Lazio, Altarocca Wine Resort Adults Only has several buildings, rooms and welness suites. Free parking and free WiFi are available. Great clean property with excellent views.

Hotel Duomo is just 15 steps up the stone stairway from Orvieto's majestic Gothic Cathedral. All rooms feature air conditioning, an LCD TV with DVD player, and a small table with 2 chairs. Great place, nice attitude of the staff.

Hotel Il Palazzo is set in the left wing of Palazzo Bartocci Fontana, a 16th-Century building halfway between Assisi's Basilica of Saint Francis and Piazza del Comune square. Great selection at breakfast. Amazing, friendly staff. Fab location, grateful for the tip to take the bus to the top of the hill and walk down from there.

Carlo was amazing host, he was super friendly and helpful, took us for a short walk and gave us great recommendations. It was the best start for our trip and we will definitely come back. The views are amazing and the place is just wonderful. Highly recommend!
