Set in Wadi Musa, 1.2 km from Petra, Petra Plaza Hotel offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The property itself was very simple, but the comfort which they give to people are the best! The receptionist was very nice and helpful with all our needs. We were also very excited with their free drinks, chocolates and other snacks. The room was superb, clean and comfortable. Great value for money! He even gave us free souvenirs when we checked out.

Situation in the top of a little hill, 10min walk up from Petra you get the beautiful view of the city to wake up to. The owners Muhammad and Holly are very courteous and kind , they looked after all guests very well. We had cake for their 6th anniversary yesterday, big congrats! They offered excellent 3 course home cooked dinner for 12JD that you can’t elsewhere in Petra. I stayed for 3 nights, would have stayed longer if I had time. Can’t recommend enough!

Offering a shared lounge and mountain view, Esperanza Petra is located in Wadi Musa, 700 metres from Petra and 5 km from Petra Church. Let’s start by saying I am very well traveled and have stayed in plenty of 5 star hotels all over the world. I chose this hotels because I knew I would spend very little time there and it was walking distance from Petra. I was actually pleasantly surprised how neat and equipped the hotel was. The owner/manager was the loveliest human. When we came in he took a map of Petra and gave us the tips and tricks and how to explore Petra, including time each route would take there and what people would try to sell us. He was very responsive. On our way out I saw him outside and we didn’t have breakfast running out and he just grabbed bananas and apples from the store next door and gave to us for the road. There is a store downstairs super cheap with everything you need. Try the ice expresso on a can (amazing). Breakfast starts at 6am with an amazing view. It’s a modest breakfast but they also make you omelet I just don’t like eggs. The area is super safe, the Jordanian people are just so sweet and not pushy at all (except for the ones trying to get you on a horse at Petra), but even they are sweet and only ask once, it’s just a lot of them. Also unlike other surrounding countries, they really do not expect money for everything. Everyone in this hotel refused getting tipped. Anyhow shower pressure is great. Bathroom clean with all things you may need. Bed and pillows were comfortable and room temp was good. Room gets pitched black which I love and it’s very quiet area. Little town 5 min drive (we had a rental car parking free right in front). His cousin owns a restaurant in town and it’s affordable and great food. I wish you the best time in Petra. Definitely save money and stay here. You will not regret. It’s not a 5 star but it’s cozy, clean, and enough for couple days in Petra.

A good location for a stress-free getaway in Al Ḩayy, Little Petra Bedouin Camp is a luxury tent surrounded by views of the garden. The staff were amazing, very generous and amazing hospitality, the room was clean, everything was perfect.

A good location for a stress-free stay in Dana, Al-Nawatef ECO camp- Dana Nature Reserve is a campground surrounded by views of the garden. Very nice views. The breakfast was good, the chalet was cute. Very nice stay

Located near the entrance of the red rose city (Petra) the Jordanian world wonder , Petra Sella Hotel is just 5 minutes' walk to the city center and another 5 to Petra entrance. Welcoming and professional staff. We received upgrade to quite room with beautiful view.
