Nomads Hotel in Petra honestly gave me a feeling I didn’t even know I was looking for. It turned out to be even better than what I had imagined. From the very first day, it just felt warm, safe, and familiar like home. The people here are what make this place so special. The staff are genuinely kind and caring, and Rasul especially went above and beyond for us. Whether it was helping us order food, telling us where to go and what to expect in Petra, or fixing even the smallest issues in the room, he was always there, always helpful, and always smiling. That kind of care stays with you. The food was incredible. The buffet breakfast/dinner gave us the perfect introduction to authentic Jordanian cuisine. Everything was so tasty, and it felt really special to be able to try a bit of everything and truly experience traditional Jordanian food. Every meal felt comforting and made with love. The rooftop bar was one of my favourite parts of this place. The vibe is just something else, so chill, so welcoming. I met such beautiful people from all over the world, including volunteers working at the bar, and we shared some really unforgettable moments together. It’s the kind of place where you come as strangers and leave feeling connected. I had some of my best days in Jordan here. Leaving Nomads was genuinely emotional for me, because some places just have that energy that stays with you. Even now, after leaving, the feeling this place gave me still lingers in my heart. The hotel looks exactly like the pictures, the vibe is cool and relaxed, and everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful. I honestly have zero complaints, everything felt perfect in its own way. If you’re visiting Petra, this place is a must. Stay here, feel the vibe, meet the people, and you’ll understand exactly what I mean. I already can’t wait to go back and relive it all again.

Let’s start by saying I am very well traveled and have stayed in plenty of 5 star hotels all over the world. I chose this hotels because I knew I would spend very little time there and it was walking distance from Petra. I was actually pleasantly surprised how neat and equipped the hotel was. The owner/manager was the loveliest human. When we came in he took a map of Petra and gave us the tips and tricks and how to explore Petra, including time each route would take there and what people would try to sell us. He was very responsive. On our way out I saw him outside and we didn’t have breakfast running out and he just grabbed bananas and apples from the store next door and gave to us for the road. There is a store downstairs super cheap with everything you need. Try the ice expresso on a can (amazing). Breakfast starts at 6am with an amazing view. It’s a modest breakfast but they also make you omelet I just don’t like eggs. The area is super safe, the Jordanian people are just so sweet and not pushy at all (except for the ones trying to get you on a horse at Petra), but even they are sweet and only ask once, it’s just a lot of them. Also unlike other surrounding countries, they really do not expect money for everything. Everyone in this hotel refused getting tipped. Anyhow shower pressure is great. Bathroom clean with all things you may need. Bed and pillows were comfortable and room temp was good. Room gets pitched black which I love and it’s very quiet area. Little town 5 min drive (we had a rental car parking free right in front). His cousin owns a restaurant in town and it’s affordable and great food. I wish you the best time in Petra. Definitely save money and stay here. You will not regret. It’s not a 5 star but it’s cozy, clean, and enough for couple days in Petra.

Little Petra Bedouin Camp cuenta con vistas a la montaña, está ubicado en Al Ḩayy y tiene un restaurante, salón compartido, cafetería, jardín y terraza. Hay wifi de cortesía disponible. The staff were amazing, very generous and amazing hospitality, the room was clean, everything was perfect.

Al-Nawatef ECO camp- Dana Nature Reserve cuenta con vistas a la montaña, está ubicado en Dana y tiene un restaurante, cocina compartida, cafetería, jardín y terraza. Todo nos gustó pero destacaríamos la calidez, hospitalidad y cariño de quiénes gestionan este increíble lugar. Nos sentimos como en casa y nos hubiera encantado poder quedarnos más de dos noches o haber regresado. Gracias por vuestra hospitalidad y el trato inmejorable a nuestra hija. Conocer Dana y hacerlo con vosotros ha sido una experiencia inolvidable. Desde el camp se veía un atardecer precioso. Y la comida estaba exquisita. Gracias por todo 💜 Ojalá poder regresar algún día 🙏

Este hotel se encuentra a sólo 100 metros de la puerta de entrada a Petra y ofrece habitaciones amplias con TV de pantalla plana. Excellent location. Opposite the entrance to Petra. Staff were friendly and incredibly accommodating for our party of 6 (Grandparents and 2 children). Food at the buffet and breakfast was excellent and very good value.
