The location and facility of ReLabo is great, and staff here are really helpful and warm. Public transportation during winter in Aomori could be challenging for visitors, and you can always get help from the hotel. I would like to express thanks for all the helpful staff, especially Araki (not entirely sure I spell the name right, she is a lovely girl with curly hair and glasses, speak perfect English), who helped us book a taxi in a very urgent situation. This is truly a unique hotel in Japan, kind of a combination of the convenience of American motels and the cleanness and comfortability of the standard Japanese style. Moreover, this is a hotel with a heart, which means that it is not just a standard place to stay with standard settings, it is designed and set up with talented mind and passionate heart. Even the lotions in the bathroom are carefully selected. And I must mention the manager, who is a true treasure of the place. He is extraordinarily friendly and helpful. It really makes one feel good just by talking to him.

Akira and Young Aee were outstanding hosts, they made us feel like at home. They really cared about our wellbeing and confort and we had very nice conversations and really useful advice about local places and activities. Thank you so much!

The location is very peaceful, the Japanese style room was very prettily decorated and spacious, and the Miyako and her husband were fabulous hosts. They were so friendly and helpful, and made us feel very well cared for. Miyako prepared delicious and generous meals for us that were absolutely beautiful. She was also a huge help with arranging luggage transfer for us as we began our planned hike along the Michinoku trail. And she and her husband offered to drive us to and from Hachinohe station at a very reasonable rate, which is a big help and big time saver because Hachinohe is very spread out.

Ranko-san was an amazing host who cared for our every needs. She even lent as snow boots for our winter hikes when she saw that our shoes was unsuitable for the snow. She was friendly and spoke English well. The rooms was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The onsen was big and well maintained. The breakfast and dinner was better than any restaurant we could find in hirosaki! Will definitely be back again :)

Well appointed, spacious and clean apartment in a quiet neighbourhood near to the station. Everything you need is available to prepare your own meals, or do laundry or take a nice long bath. Parking is also easy as there is a spot attached to the apartment. The landlord was very responsive and helpful when we had any questions I’d have not hesitation staying there again.
