Well set in Hiroshima, Hilton Hiroshima offers 4-star accommodation close to Myoei-ji Temple and Hiroshima City Minami Ward Community Cultural Center. Location is great, 20 minutes from the train station, 10-15 minutes from the Peace Memorial Museum, the A-Dome and everything else you should see while staying in Hiroshima. Breakfast has extensive options, both Japanese & Western style. The most impressive of all though was the view from the room - exceptional. Also appreciated the personalised touch of the staff who messaged personally to ask how comfortable the room is, etc.

Set 1.7 km from Lafcadio Hearn Memorial Museum, Onyado Nono Matsue Natural Hot Spring offers 4-star accommodation in Matsue and has a spa and wellness centre. The hotel seems brand new, and the rooms are nicely set up with tatami mats and comfortable beds. Just like in a ryokan, you leave your shoes at the entrance. This gives the hotel a very cozy feel despite its size. The staff is extraordinary. I never had to wait to talk to a staff member and they were very helpful. The onsen is one of the best I experienced in larger hotels like this. It is a very nice oasis to come back to after a long day. I particularly liked that they also have a sauna. The location is ideal. There are lots of restaurants and bars literally right outside the hotel, the lake and the castle are both just a short stroll away. If I come back to Matsue, I will stay here again for sure.

Amazing place, the best of all capsule hotels on my trip! The free tea selection, the breakfast, the access to onsen as many times as you want, even on check out day(!), it’s such a great stay for the price! I was in hotel heaven. Great showers, the pyjamas are included and you can get fresh towels by asking in the reception. Thank you!

Set in Uno, the recently renovated 視点定点 inn offers accommodation 21 km from Kyobashi no Kyokyakuato and 21 km from Hashihime Inari Daimyojin Shrine. We absolutely loved the convenient location as well as the beautifully curated apartment. There is so much attention to detail which makes the stay both comfortable and whimsical:) The host was also very kind to us.

The chef is a magician and the staff is so caring, helpful and lovely. The interior is full of style and thoughts. There are rooms with shower or with bathtubs.

It was an absolutely unique experience to stay in an old traditional japanese house /all japanese art included, kimono, swords, furniture, games/ hosted by well educated Hideo very nice gentleman, who showed us around the house, also prepared us a cup of tea in traditional way, and we chatted about everything. Recommended to everyone who is tired of anonymous hotels and likes to meet local people.

Kohde oli erittäin siisti. Jaetussa huoneessa on super hyvät sängyt ja miellyttävä miljöö. Huippua oli myös pyykkipalvelu (500yen), jossa henkilökunta pesee pyykit ja palauttaa sinulle puhtaana. Tämä majoitus sopii erityisen hyvin ihmisille, jotka on menossa pyöräilemään Shimanami Kaidoa. Respan aivan huippu nuori nainen osasi neuvoa siihen liittyen loistavasti. Myös tavarat sai säilöä paikassa ilmaiseksi, kun yöpyi paikassa ennen ja jälkeen pyöräilyn. Yleisesti todella hyvä hostelli hinta-laatusuhteelta ja upea tunnelma.
