Now my second time and my go for place to stay on this beautiful island. i enjoy the tatami room, but also there is one room with a western bed. a kitchen with everything what is needed to prepare food and tea / coffee. I hope you enjoy this place like I do.

Exceptional view of Sakurajima and the ocean. The location was quiet and peaceful. Our room was large with a beautiful view of the ocean. The hotel was very clean and the staff were so helpful. The bed in this hotel was the most comfortable bed during our entire 3 weeks in Japan.

I got to experience living in a traditional Japanese tatami room and the futon was very comfortable. The stay was very enjoyable and the neighbourhood was very calm and peaceful

Completely free laundry. Very convenient location near the sea and city center. Very corteous employees. Dinner was not expensive and very tasty.

The host was always available for everything. Probably witnessed the peak of Japanese culture (with people being helpful in every way possible) here. The host (without even us asking him for anything) found that our shoes were wet after a trek put them for drying (on a drying machine) only for us to find the shoes all dried up the next day. Unbelievable. The location is walkable from the port and has house had everything you’d need. The kitchen and the shower was equipped with everything that you’d need during your stay. The house was small but very clean. Would highly recommend.

The view of the ocean was truly spectacular, it felt almost like we were in the ocean, with just the sound of the waves.
