The room was amazing and super comfy we got the last room on the floor which I love personally. The onsen was great my friend ate breakfast and was impressed with the service, we were in Kagoshima since our flights were canceled due to bad weather so this was a break on our long holiday and it was perfect the gym was being serviced so we could only use it in the morning but the onsen was great only thing to remember is you cannot get anything to eat at the hotel post 9pm if you are flying in late. The concierge was super helpful in planning our trip out.

Tatami room and everything. The foot bath was right outside the room and felt amazing. Was surprised to find out that the bath had it's own thermal water pipe in addition to the normal pipes. Tried one of the local souchus that were available to freely taste and it was really good. Just bummed that I only stayed for 1 night. Definitely worth staying for at least 2 days or more. Especially if you're coming with a car.

The owners were so friendly, they helped us with recommendations, getting to know the area and even organised a ride to a local restaurant for us to try out. They went above and beyond, also Miman itself is a beautiful place, the rooms were clean and the bathroom was large with 2 showers. There was even a shared lounge area with manga and access to cooking facilities. Overall an amazing place, highly recommend!

The host was always available for everything. Probably witnessed the peak of Japanese culture (with people being helpful in every way possible) here. The host (without even us asking him for anything) found that our shoes were wet after a trek put them for drying (on a drying machine) only for us to find the shoes all dried up the next day. Unbelievable. The location is walkable from the port and has house had everything you’d need. The kitchen and the shower was equipped with everything that you’d need during your stay. The house was small but very clean. Would highly recommend.
