This is one of our favourite accommodations during our one week trip in Kyushu. The location is perfect, esp if you had a car. Less than 10 minute drive to the Saraku Sand Bath, supermarket and JR station. It's also close to Ryugu Jingu and Tamatebako Onsen. The room has a big balcony with ocean view, and it was superb to watch the sunset and sunrise. The room has enough amenities and cooking equipments to make a small meal. The beds are large and comfortable. The natural onsen was a surprise bonus, and it is true onsen because we could smell sulphur from it! The host, Takada-san, showed us spectacular hospitality from the very beginning. The responses were always quick and warm. We deeply feel the love Takada-san have for Ibusuki. Ibusuki is such a lovely ocean village with high quality onsen, and the best sashimi I have ever had (among my 5 visits to Japan). We highly recommend everyone to visit Ibusuki and stay at Takada-san's accommodation!

I Amami, 14 minutters gange fra Setta-stranden, ligger guesthouse minkä, som har en hage, gratis privat parkering og en terrasse. hosted by a lovely couple. also if you not speak japanese there is no problem to make things happen, super helpful and supportive. Now my second time and my go for place to stay on this beautiful island. i enjoy the tatami room, but also there is one room with a western bed. a kitchen with everything what is needed to prepare food and tea / coffee. I hope you enjoy this place like I do.

I Tarumizu, bare 31 kilometer fra Kushira Heiwa arena og 39 kilometer fra Ogawa-no-taki (foss) ligger Fairfield by Marriott Kagoshima Sakurajima. Beautiful property by the ocean. The staff was friendly, even if my partner could speak Japanese the staff member talked to me in English and I really appreciated that ! Thank you

I Kirishima, 40 kilometer fra Kagoshima Chuo stasjon og 41 kilometer fra Kagoshima stasjon, ligger Live here like local Japanese do. Awesome host who spoke English. Perfect base to explore Kirishima mountain area.

Hotel Sundays Amami ligger i Amami, 5 minutters gange fra Yanigawa Shopping Street, og har boenheter med klimaanlegg, i tillegg til en restaurant. The hotel is very new and facilities are user friendly, excellent location and beautiful sea view, staff are polite. Wide range of breakfast choices. Would definitely stay here again!

I Amami, 9 minutters gange fra Higashi-stranden, ligger みーまん奄美, som har en fellesstue, gratis privat parkering og en bar. The owners were so friendly, they helped us with recommendations, getting to know the area and even organised a ride to a local restaurant for us to try out. They went above and beyond, also Miman itself is a beautiful place, the rooms were clean and the bathroom was large with 2 showers. There was even a shared lounge area with manga and access to cooking facilities. Overall an amazing place, highly recommend!

I Yakushima, 10 kilometer fra Shiratani Unsuikyō, ligger Yakushima Park Guesthouse, som har en hage, gratis privat parkering og en terrasse. The hospitality was impeccable. The host was always available for everything. Probably witnessed the peak of Japanese culture (with people being helpful in every way possible) here. The host (without even us asking him for anything) found that our shoes were wet after a trek put them for drying (on a drying machine) only for us to find the shoes all dried up the next day. Unbelievable. The location is walkable from the port and has house had everything you’d need. The kitchen and the shower was equipped with everything that you’d need during your stay. The house was small but very clean. Would highly recommend.

I Amami, 16 minutters gange fra Akakina-stranden og 8,1 kilometer fra Oshima Tsumugi Museum, ligger Denpaku The Beachfront MIJORA. The view of the ocean was truly spectacular, it felt almost like we were in the ocean, with just the sound of the waves.
