We had a wonderful stay during our family trip to Kyoto. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. The location was also perfect—convenient for exploring the city and close to many key attractions.

Where to start! This was one of the best hotels we have stayed in Japan. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. They helped to receive luggge and packages, and helped us send our luggages to the following hotel. The rooms were more spacious than the usual modern hotels in Japan, and decorated immaculately. The continuous flow of baked goods, drinks at the cozy lobby made me feel like having a big living room where I could spend hours to chill after a long day of walking. We also made use of their free bike rental. It is a such great concept! I also used the laundry on the ground floor. Definitely considering staying here next time I'm in Kyoto!

The property is brand new, wonderful design and facilities are immaculate. Even tho they just opened 4 months ago the staff is impeccable, well trained and organized, very attentive and ready to help. Our room at the 4th floor was very spacious and just perfect. Gym, pool and spa a sanctuary that I really enjoyed during our 4 days at the property. Food and dining experience in the property are top notch as well.

The main shopping street is a short bus ride away. Very professionally run hotel with great staff. There is a public guest area that is like a coffee shop, they provide drinks and food for free, including wine, whiskey, nuts, coffee, tea, sweets and cake.

Ideally situated in the centre of Kyoto, ALA HOTEL KYOTO features air-conditioned rooms, a fitness centre, free WiFi and a restaurant. The room was spacious, and the hotel had great amenities. The best part was the staff! Everyone was incredibly warm and helpful, and worked hard to make sure we were comfortable and felt welcome.
