The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. They helped to receive luggge and packages, and helped us send our luggages to the following hotel. The rooms were more spacious than the usual modern hotels in Japan, and decorated immaculately. The continuous flow of baked goods, drinks at the cozy lobby made me feel like having a big living room where I could spend hours to chill after a long day of walking. We also made use of their free bike rental. It is a such great concept! I also used the laundry on the ground floor. Definitely considering staying here next time I'm in Kyoto!

The restaurant and bar area is cosy and perfect for a meal/drink after sightseeing! Staff did a great job, always attending to requests with kindness and professionalism! The hotel is located near Kyoto station (access to Shinkansen rapid service and Osaka airport via Haruka Express JR train). It is also located within a comfortable walking distance to Kyoto downtown area and Gion.
