Featuring 4-star accommodation, Iroha Grand Hotel Kintetsu Nara Ekimae is set in Nara, 19 km from Iwafune Shrine and 22 km from Higashiosaka Hanazono Rugby Stadium. The location is crazy good. Basically you can explore and explore Nara main attractions easily. Seriously, stay and you will not regret the peace you get and easy walks to Nara park. I went and pet the deers late at night when all the tourist left. They were very gentle.

Attractively located in the Nara Park district of Nara, 四季亭 Shikitei is situated 2.3 km from Nara Station, 19 km from Iwafune Shrine and 22 km from Higashiosaka Hanazono Rugby Stadium. It was a dream come true to stay in Shikitei, a traditional inn with so much history. I loved the service-mindedness of the staff, the exquisite rooms, and the location.

Located within 7.2 km of Iwafune Shrine and 10 km of Nozaki Kannon Shrine, Shionome house provides rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Ikoma. The Yoshi and his daughter were very enthusiastic and welcoming. During breakfast we would often have a quick chat that was nice. The layout of the breakfast/dinner area facilitates everyone to interact during breakfast. Also, on my Wednesday morning, other residents from Ikoma came to join which got me talking to some other locals.

Situated in Nara, 1.7 km from Nara Station, Novotel Nara features accommodation with a fitness centre, private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Everything, hotel staff, cleanness, comfortable, hot spring bath, parking, gym, toilet. Have been in several 5* hotels, and I have to say this hotel is on my top list. Would love to stay longer. Good price too! Booked based on pictures: not disappointed.

Kanko Ryokan Yamato features city views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Ikoma, 8.8 km from Iwafune Shrine. A traditional ryokan in the most authentic location. An easy walk from the local train, and well situate for a trip to the local temple, which is well worth a visit. The host was most friendly, and a very wonderful person. The onsen is great and has easy to follow instructions for tourists available. The view over the city at night was truly marvelous. We extended our stay.

Fairfield by Marriott Nara Tenri Yamanobenomichi is located in Tenri, within 13 km of Nara Station and 28 km of Iwafune Shrine. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The view from the room was great.

Located in Kashihara, 20 km from Nara Station and 28 km from Subaru Hall, 古民家民泊かえるて offers a garden and air conditioning. We spent a night at this accommodation and we really liked it! The apartment is located within a larger building with a beautiful inner garden. The kitchen is fully equipped and we prepared our own food there. The beds are very comfortable and the location is very quiet which makes for a great night sleep. The hosts are very kind and welcoming. We had a nice conversation and they are really friendly. We came by car and there is also a parking spot where you can leave your vehicle. Definitely 100% recommended!
