Welcomed by a tea ceremony, we were then introduced to our suite the size of a house. Extremely comfortable with everything you need and the accommodation borders on Nara Deer Park and only a 10 minute walk to the train station or the historic district.

This place is just amazing. Most friendly and helpful host. The house is traditional Japanese style and gives a very homely feeling. It’s walking distance from the station and very calm place. Definitely recommend.

The onsen is private and completely tattoo friendly, you simply close the door and enjoy the bath all to yourself. Thoughtful toiletries are provided both in the bathing area and in your room, along with comfortable yukatas and even traditional socks for the evening. There is so much heart in this ryokan: in every detail, in every gesture, and in every smile, even in the little dog who greets you upon arrival. From your room, you can admire a lovely view of the city, surrounded by the peaceful mountain where the ryokan rests, and even enjoy the charming cable car ride that takes you up the hillside.

Great room, awesome facilities. The only thing, we had a cockroach outside while enjoying the onsen. It climbed out of the sewer or something and I was terrified to death :)
