Arnold gave us all the information we needed to navigate Lamu on arrival and organised some wonderful trips for us as well as a Swahili cooking lesson. Breakfast was generous and the rooms comfortable. I would definitely recommend JamboHouse! We will stay again on our next trip.

Immanuel was incredible, helping us with directions, turn down service, recommendations and breakfast. The home itself is beautiful with great amenities and especially views of the city.

Sai Shanti House ligger i Lamu, bare 3 minutters gange unna Manda-stranden og 200 meter unna Mnarani House. Her får du en hage, utsikt mot hagen og gratis WiFi over hele overnattingsstedet. Chris is an amazing host. The house is lovely, perfectly located and very reasonably priced. I was solo travelling and felt very safe at Sai Shanti!

Sai Shanti House har overnatting med balkong og gratis WiFi og ligger i Lamu. Denne leiligheten ligger i en bygning fra 2002, 3 minutters gange fra Manda-stranden og 200 meter fra Mnarani House. Very warm and friendly reception. Beyond expectations! We were initially doubting to book due to a false comment of bathroom privacy issue, but we took chances and had a lovely stay, bathroom/shower is separated with locking mechanism from both sides. Host is super friendly, and greets/welcomes from Jetty, and even from Airport offers pickup service, which feels like home. We broke a glass accidently and they were cool about it too. Very accommodating, always at service to take us around as historical alleys there don't show up in Maps. We will return for sure.

The staff were amazing - so friendly and attentive. We have a young family and they were great with the children too. The house is a beautiful old Swahili house. The rooms are on the upper floors meaning there is a nice breeze to keep you cool at night and during the day. We have 2 small children and easily fitted into one family room. There was also a great roof terrace for sundowners and/or dinner each night. Location was very convenient - a couple of minutes walk to the beach. Edwin was very helpful in organising dhows, dinner and bonfire in the dunes etc. We will definitely be back!
