We had an excellent stay at the camp! Its location was perfect — only a quarter of an hour from the Sekenani Gate — making it convenient to visit the Masai Mara, where we had an unforgettable safari. We also visited a local village and a school and the camp was also a wonderful place to relax, with great food and a cosy campfire in the evenings. The people were incredibly friendly, which made both our teenage kids and us feel very welcome. We also arranged our jeep with guide/driver via this place (Kambu Campers), which we can absolutely recommend. Overall, a fantastic experience!”

Olkinyei Mara Tented Camp bevindt zich in Talek met uitzicht op de tuin en heeft een restaurant, roomservice, bar, tuin en terras. Zowel WiFi als privéparkeren is bij de lodge gratis toegankelijk. Heerlijk verblijf gehad in een moderne tent, dichtbij de masai mara gate. Heb een echte safari gevoel gehad mede door dit verblijf. Bedden waren heerlijk. Ontbijt en eten was top geregeld door de chef en personeel. Mijn complimenten. Volgende keer kom ik zeker weer hierheen.

Veilscape Mara Camp is gelegen in Masai Mara en biedt gratis WiFi, een tuin, een terras en een bar. We had a really nice stay at Veilscamp. Not only Masai Mara by itself, even Veilscamp was the highlight of our whole Kenya-Trip. The food was amazing, we had 3 courses Menues, a tent all by ourselves and especially the staff was soo good. Peter stayed in contact with us even before we have arrived to get sure we get fresh lunch, Vivienne and Steve were all the time so kind and treated us so well. Thanks to all of you for making the stay unforgettable to us.

Mara Hilltop heeft een buitenzwembad, een tuin, een terras en een bar in Sekenani. Communication via WhatsApp was super easy, even during our stay. The chef personally came to discuss menu options for lunch and dinner, as well as packed breakfast/lunch options for days in the park. Evenings around the bonfire were wonderful, and the staff interactions were consistently warm and genuine. Great pool and overall facilities, and a lovely place to relax/work even on days not spent in the park. If you’re lucky, a zebra might even stop by for a visit!

The host was incredibly kind, very helpful, and communicated clearly throughout our visit. The place itself is spotless—clean, tidy, and exactly as described in her listing. The small kitchen had all the necessary kitchenette amenities, though we were unfortunately too tired to cook as we had just arrived from Nakuru. We also appreciated the good security. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant stay, and we would highly recommend it.

The view from the campsite was absolutely beautiful, no Tv just there to enjoy nature and get the full Masai Mara experience. The staff were all so friendly and helpful towards our family giving our children a fun experience also.

Gratis privéparkeren is beschikbaar bij de bed & breakfast.... The accommodation is alright, run by local Masai community and a good choice for staying around the Masai Mara National park entrance. The staff is extraordinary and I can recommend them enough. Joseph and Munkasio took us on unforgettable game drive safari around Masai Mara for 14 hours straight! That was a life-memorising experience. Those 2 Masai guys really love their job and give all their energy to provide you with extraordinary experience that you will never forget. First of all, I must say they have the most authentic and most beautiful safari vehicles in the park, comfortable seats, wooden natural elements open type of vehicle where you are the most connected with your surroundings and the nature. They are local and they know the best spots, there is no obstacle in the park which would stop them to get you as close as possible to the epicenter of natural life. While all other tour organisation safaris are very reserved and interested to go beyond they are obliged, our 2 guys took us so close to the lions that we could almost feel their breath. They let us enjoy every moment we wanted and never cut it off... it felt like your best friend took you on safari and was excited to show you all. Late in the afternoon they even asked us is there any animals we missed and you want us to find... They are just amazing... At some point we were chasing ostrich for kilometres... Everything was fun and unforgettable. This is the longest review I ever wrote and I haven't even scratched even a surface of the extraordinary safari we had. I really recommend this unique safari best experience because, it feels more genuine, more connected to the region and local knowledge. It is cheaper than Nairobi Safari mega-companies to whom you are just a number and you have a chance to directly continue to the local community and not to Nairobi businesses.

Mara Green Heart bevindt zich in Sekenani. De accommodatie heeft uitzicht op de stad en de bergen. De luxe tent heeft een flatscreen-tv. Handdoeken en beddengoed worden bij de luxe tent verzorgd. Super location with tents spaced out between private winding paths on a hill with a view. Dining area with fireplace and washroom. Tents with washroom also. Great dinner was an added bonus. This was super for a group of work colleagues visiting the park.
