A 5-minute walk from the crab market, the property is about 600 metres from Kep City and a 20-minute tuk tuk ride from the pier. Another 40-minute boat ride brings guests to Koh Thonsay (Rabbit Island). We loved Tara Lodge with my family: it is truly a haven of peace...as soon as we entered the place, we felt quietness and relaxation. The small size of the hotel reinforces this sense of peace as well as the vegetation and the nice pool Breakfast was very good with fresh fruit shake and several options. It is not close to the beach but can be reached easily by tuk tuk or by foot. Lionel the owner was also very kind in welcoming us ahead of the check-in and advising us on tours. We will definitely come back here if we are lucky to travel to Cambodia again.

I loved it here and will make a point stay here again the next time I visit Kep.

The pool area itself is good for an afternoon chill out after a hard day of travelling. Breakfast and other meals can be made if you ask the owner advance. One of the most welcoming places we have stayed on the whole of our trip.♥️

We had a great time with great owners. We were greeted at the front by Mel who offered us a cold glass of water. The villa is spectacular it’s the most comfortable bed I have ever lay on! The room was lovely and smelled amazing. It’s like a 5 star hotel but with the bonus of having home cooked food, cakes and drinks. Very reasonable prices and the breakfast was amazing. Would definitely recommend staying here to anyone who wants to live in beautiful surroundings, with lovely owners, and where it’s so quiet and peaceful at night. They also have a beautiful swimming pool and a rather extensive library which is great to unwind in after a long day at the beach! Ten out of ten all round. Will definitely be going back.
