We loved the mix of boutique hotel and guesthouse, where you leave your shoes at the front door. The calm, rural location is a great getaway from the hustle and bustle of city business. The rooms, bathrooms, and balconies are spacious. The stairs to the 1st floor are very comfortable, with low risers. I enjoyed practicing yoga in the multi-event room, with a view out onto the ocean. The pool was appreciated, as ocean swimming is difficult. We quickly felt at home. Meals are prepared from scratch, so your personal preferences can be included. Both owners and all the staff are welcoming and helpful.

Very quiet relaxing spot with well designed units. The service and food were excellent. An enjoyable 15 minute bicycle (they are free) ride to Elements Resort on the beach. The owner Anushka is a wealth of knowledge and was able to organize dolphin watching and onward travel for a reasonable price.

Set in Kalpitiya, a few steps from Kudawa Beach, Windy Waves Beach Nature Resort & Kite School offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a private beach area and a shared lounge. Very nice huts that make you feel super comfortable. The breakfast is amazing and offers a nice variety too. Also the restaurant is very good and the staff will do anything to make your stay as good as possible. Kite surfing and their teachers were amazing as well.

The staff were incredible, so kind and helpful. We felt completely spoiled. Very easy to communicate with and they also helped book the safari and transportation to our next location. Food was so delicious.
