Such a peaceful place and very clean and comfortable room. The staff is kind and friendly. 2 minutes away from the beach, but if you don't mind walking there are so many different locations to swim and enjoy the sun if you are not into kite surfing. Breakfast is great! I totally recommend it!

The owner was exceptionally kind and upgraded our room to a spacious, comfortable suite complete with a large bathroom and hot water. The resort’s unique setting nestled within nature means you’re surrounded by the sights and sounds of the jungle—even the garden attracts a variety of local wildlife. Despite arriving late (around 10:20 PM), we were warmly welcomed. The owner personally ensured that our late arrival was taken care of by waiting with a delicious buffet dinner featuring an array of traditional Sri Lankan dishes. He even explained every dish and introduced us to delightful local desserts. Another highlight was the convenient transportation service offered by the resort. The owner arranged rides to and from various destinations, even picking us up from a location 2.5 hours away. We also took part in an exciting safari trip to Wildpattu National Park via this resort.. Our driver for safari was knowledgeable and resourceful, successfully handling minor other mcar repairs during the safari. The journey through the humid forest was thrilling as we encountered numerous animals, creating an unforgettable wildlife experience. While our stay was brief—we only spent one night as we headed out for a full-day safari—the clean, spacious rooms and the owner’s attentive care made it feel like a home away from home. I wholeheartedly recommend Ceylon Resort Wildpattu to anyone looking for an immersive nature experience combined with genuine hospitality.

Loved the sea view from balcony . We really enjoyed the clean and nice pool. The rooms were very specios and tidy. Roy and Cinthi provided delicious great food for us. We had a great and relaxing stay there.
