Near nature resort and they set up our safari (elephant, water buffalo, beer, monkeys, eagles, mongoose, giant lizards, spotted deer, …) 137 USD for half day (more than enough given the bumpiness of the roads in the reserve).

Great food and very hospitable hosts. Dogs are friendly and the bungalows are very comfortable. Couldn’t recommend more

Roshan is the best host and did everything to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Prior to arrival he assured us that they could cater for one of our party who is vegan and also arranged a full-day safari for us. We had a large family room which was immaculate with great facilities. Each night, Roshan's wife cooks an incredible buffet for the guests, all freshly prepared with a huge choice. The food was amazing and Roshan and his family made our stay memorable.

Very accommodating couple runs the Hotel, they upgraded me without extra charges to make me stay in the room closer to the room of my sister; they were arranging the taxi drivers as per our requests; advising us for the places to see; Their kitchen is very clean, you better eat at this hotel than somewhere outside

Set in Marawila, 100 metres from Marawila Beach, SOLUNA BEACH RESORT offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. The staff are Soluna truly went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Everyone was so attentive and friendly, like we havent seen in 3 weeks of our vacation. The room we stayed in was seriously huge and beautifully decorated with a nice view towards the pool and ocean. The pool itself is well maintained and big enough to really swim for a while. Would definitely come again and would recommend everyone to visit Soluna for a relaxed start or end to your Sri Lanka vacation!

The resort was so calm and surrounded by beautiful trees, a perfect place to relax your mind. The staff were very friendly, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. They even provided free bicycles that guests could use, which made exploring the area enjoyable. I truly loved the hours I spent at this resort. It’s worth more than the money I paid

The receptionist was super lovely and all the staff were kind. Breakfast and food in general is good. And the bar area is perfect. Even some people from other hotels come there to have dinner, so even though it is a calm place it has a lively atmosphere and ocean views. That's important if you are staying few days Working WiFi in the room.
