Near nature resort and they set up our safari (elephant, water buffalo, beer, monkeys, eagles, mongoose, giant lizards, spotted deer, …) 137 USD for half day (more than enough given the bumpiness of the roads in the reserve).

Very well kept, and the rooms are so cozy! Absolutely adored the dogs and cat that roam th property too!

Roshan is the best host and did everything to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Prior to arrival he assured us that they could cater for one of our party who is vegan and also arranged a full-day safari for us. We had a large family room which was immaculate with great facilities. Each night, Roshan's wife cooks an incredible buffet for the guests, all freshly prepared with a huge choice. The food was amazing and Roshan and his family made our stay memorable.

This place is right across the beach, it is quiet. Upon our arrival, we received a heartfelt welcome by it's generous hosts. Our room was beautiful, so spacious, clean and comfortable. We had dinner in the main guests room and litteraly wolfed down the succulent rice & curry.

The location is perfect, right on the beach and within easy 10 min walking distance of several excellent local seafood restaurants. Waking up to the sound of the sea and having breakfast while looking out over the ocean was a highlight each morning. The breakfast itself was great, with a choice of English or traditional Sri Lankan options, both delicious. There were also some lovely dogs onsite, who minded their own business unless you called them over and then they liked a fuss! We stayed in one of the villas, which was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The entire property is very clean and well cared for. A special thank you to Suranga and Rodney, who were absolutely fantastic throughout our stay. They were warm, helpful, and incredibly accommodating, nothing was too much trouble, and they truly made our experience extra special.

The resort was so calm and surrounded by beautiful trees, a perfect place to relax your mind. The staff were very friendly, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. They even provided free bicycles that guests could use, which made exploring the area enjoyable. I truly loved the hours I spent at this resort. It’s worth more than the money I paid

The receptionist was super lovely and all the staff were kind. Breakfast and food in general is good. And the bar area is perfect. Even some people from other hotels come there to have dinner, so even though it is a calm place it has a lively atmosphere and ocean views. That's important if you are staying few days Working WiFi in the room.
